As a teacher, I am always confident buying the crayola brand. It is the only brand I hope my students bring to school. This 12 pack of pencils impressed me as I expected it to. The colors are bold and vivid. They color well. They sharpen easily. They are perfect for coloring books or detailed drawings. They are excellent value for the money- high quality, low price.. They function beautifully. They are very durable. They are built to last. My students use them often in class and they work better than most (all?) other brands. They are dependable and affordable craft item, a must in every home and classroom. I am not a professional artist, but I would guess that pros might want a different quality color pencil. But for the average user, these are perfect.
