My fingerprints were taken by Identogo with really poor quality, and the FBI rejected them twice! Identogo blamed my fingerprints, but I knew they didn't do a good job. So, I called the FBI to inquire if I could fingerprint myself, and they confirmed it. I completed a couple of 258 forms using this kit, and it was incredibly easy to use. My fingerprints came out clear, and I didn't even use all the ink strips they provided.I suggest having someone assist you in keeping the form in place because it's easy to get ink everywhere. Alternatively, make sure to clean each finger with wet wipes immediately after taking the print. The ink comes off your fingers very easily.

Worked well for my purposes. Forms accepted by government without a problem. The ink was on stripes of paper. That was a little hard to coat them onto the finger tips.

These cards are for employees regarding background checks, real estate licensures, and other types of licensure’s accepted by Indentigo. It’s easy and simple and comes with ink pad and several cards in case there are mistakes made.

Needed to submit some FD-258s, I was able to do all 5 cards with 1 1/2 ink sheets. Was easy to use, ink took some work to clean off but not horrible.
