Cord way too short for practical applications. Plan on using/buying an extension cord to make this work.

Best solution is cut off international plug on your cord, install local hardware US plug for $2 in 10-15 minutes.
Don't waste your money on a $12-13 cord you can buy from eBay for $6-7. Better yet, just cut off the international plug, buy a US plug from a local hardware store for $2, and install the new plug in 10-15 minutes.
