Expensive, but works perfectly.
This connector fit perfectly over my 6” AC vent hole. It has a sufficient number of screw holes for secure mounting. I added a bead of silicone on the backside to improve the seal on the drywall. The 6” vent tube screwed in exactly as described. No tape! Looks super professional!

Great product by a great company!
I have had great service from this company! They’ve been working with me on a slightly modified design. Thanks Intulon!

It's a hole
It's a hole for duct work. Works fine with my portable ac unit

Worked as Designed but Had to Purchase Screws
It works as designed but I did have to buy some stainless-steel screws to make sure that they do not rust.

Decent
Overpriced. The I/D is exactly 6” which makes hooking it up to a 6” pipe a custom job. Had to cut my duct and spread it out then tape it around the O/D of the piece.Wish the I/D was just a tad bigger or smaller so the pipe would fit in without the need to hack up the duct.

GREAT OPTION FOR PORTABLE AC
Product provides a convenient and aesthetic way of venting a portable AC unit into the attic or other area outside drywall. We live in FL and our AC does not keep bonus room cool in winter. We use a portable AC unit and now this vent option into attic area as a “poor man’s” mini-split. Only need it for about 3 months of the year.Note this unit has “reverse threads” for the duct hose which is on some portable units. It also allows you to thread the duct through the wall so it will clear insulation, studs, etc. It’s 3D printed I believe so care must be taken not to over-tighten mount screws or it WILL split the screw holes.I had to - carefully - open up the holes a bit for screws I selected and then countersunk them for a cleaner looking installation. Would be nice if unit came already countersunk.I used a plywood “backup” ring on attic side to screw into (pre-drilled) because if you just mount into drywall, it will tear out after awhile. There’s very little “meat” between the mount holes and the drywall hole (no edge distance). So any wall anchor will pull out.Has nice cover plug for off months. Overall a perfect product for the intended use and very welcome and easy way to solve a frustrating problem.

Allows for a very clean install into a wall!
This item allowed me to cut a dedicated hole in the wall and avoid the unsightly and inefficient bellows and open window. Overall, very pleased.

Defective 3D printing technique. Product fell apart
Product looked awesome and I was excited to install it. After drilling a 6 inch hole in my drywall the product would not insert so I enlarged it with a drywall knife so it would easily fit and when I pulled it out of the wall it cracked in half at the threads. I was soooo disappointed.

A "Cool" Connection
This wall flange connector is exceptionally well made and very durable. The plastic thickness of the insert is there because of the need for very large deep thread grooves to accommodate your 6” air conditioning hose, a really good design for giving it installation strength and durability of annual use.For those of you who have a construction knowledge, some sheet metal experience and the tools to do an installation like this, you’ll find it very easy and have it done in a few hours or less. I installed the flange in my bedroom wall so not to block my only opening window. The wall insert has an odd outer diameter for you to connect a sheet metal duct to it, 6.2”, not the standard 6” as would be expected, because of that you need to fabricate your own. I solved it by taking a 6” pre-made duct, cutting it to the length I needed with aviation snips and then cut a dozen slits along the length of the duct piece to flare them out and bend them back in to surround the outside of the plastic flange. This was pretty much the longest part of installing this flange in the wall. The use of a wall stud sensor and some knowledge of building structure helped to correctly determine where to cut the hole through the wall. The exterior square cover vent (from Amazon as well) was what I was joining to the now prepared duct to. Once installed, I sealed the insert (inside the wall space and outside on the side of the house) with weather proof clear silicone after inserting a piece of standard mesh screen to keep bugs and stuff out that may try to crawl in. For securing the inner flange, (to be inserted it into the ‘flared out’ metal duct) I devised a simple wood bracket to give the wall strength to hold the flange in place. The things you may need to make this work are coming up with a way to keep the flange secure in your drywall as 6 screws into the drywall are not going to keep the flange there year after year of use and disconnect, re-attach, etcetera. The solution was to make an 8” square piece of plywood, with a 6.25” hole cut through it to let the flange pass through it, and to get this inside your wall, I cut it in half, so there are two pieces. By pre drilling holes through the drywall where the flange’s 6 holes would be mounted let me know the plywood bracket would be, to add in drywall screws to the “square” portion of the bracket keep it firmly in place. This worked out exceptionally well and after filling the holes with drywall mud, sanding and finishing, it is now ready for a paint job and once that is complete, you will never know all the effort that went into putting this AC hose connecting wall flange in place. Before installing something like this, you should know how thick your walls are from inside to outside your home, (2x4 or 2x6 or 2x8 wall construction) and have an idea where the studs are to not cut into one when you are deciding where to place your hole. This it is a great addition to my home and very convenient to connect the portable AC unit every season. Hope this helps.

Very good quality
Fits perfect and it works good for portable air conditioner

Perfect for a portable air conditioner
See attached picture. No hubby, so I hired someone to install outside dryer vent and connect the metal pipe through the wall to this. Works like a charm and saves a lot of hassle putting up a slider kit or window kit. Way more efficient. Very happy😁

That will work.
It works and is what I expected. Flange around outside could be larger so that wall plugs are not so close to main hole.
