These are not 8.5 they cracked once I put the 8 inch speakers in them

Inner ring is tapered
I have no idea why but the inner diameter is tapered which prevented my speaker from dropping in. This should be redesigned so that the inner ring is parallel with the outer ring; a simple 1” spacer.Took quite a bit of Dremel grinding but eventually got the speaker to fit.Dumb though.

These are 1 inch think seller lied on the add and stopped responding.
