It does the job handily.
In pursuit of my hobbies, I sometimes have occasion to do some rattle can spray painting. I don't do nearly enough of it to justify buying one of those fancy hobby spray booths. Usually, I just go outside and do my spray painting on old newspapers. Living in New England, there are several months each year during which this is not feasible. Those short, dark, depressing winter days are the times when I need my hobbies the most. Our garage is unheated and so, unsuitable. I built my own spray booth out of corrugated boxes, but it's only marginally satisfactory. It's difficult to see what I am doing. It doesn't fold flat, so when it's not in use, it's an elephant sitting in a corner of my hobby area. One of the things I like about this spray booth is that it folds into a small flat package. More about that later. Amazon, in their desire to be loved is continually making 'suggestions', allegedly based upon my prior purchases. I can't imagine which of my purchases they based this suggestion on, but it looked like a pretty good idea. I chose the small size, which is huge in terms of the projects that I am normally working on. It pops up easily, and the fabric is translucent, allowing enough light to filter through that I can see what is going on. There's a velcro panel in the back wall which will allow the addition of an exhaust fan. The issue of fumes should not be ignored, especially if you are spraying in an enclosed space. So far, I haven't felt the need, but my spray projects are small quick ones. I have to say that folding this thing back up is weird and fiddly. If you lack patience, you will probably find it frustrating. Your only chance is to follow the instructions that are sewn into the cover. So far, I've only used this 3 times, so it may be I will develop the knack with further use. Would I buy this again? I think so. Not having used it for a long term, I can't speak to it's durability. Barring that, it's a good deal.

Really Great Paint Tent for Small Projects
If you do any small project spray painting, you’ll love this tent. It keeps overspray in check and clean up a breeze. I noticed they have larger tents for larger projects. Worth checking out if they’re as good as this one. But this one works perfect for me. It folds up flat and goes in a small pouch for storage with is a great bonus.

Good but ripped at the seams in less than a year.
I bought the medium pop up tent in March of 2022. I restore and repurpose furniture and home decor thrift items pretty regularly so I was in need of something that would protect my work space at my new house. I included pictures with a standard two step and three step ladder for size reference. Overall the product is good. A few things: This works as intended and is easy to setup and use. However, I haven’t even had this a year and the wire has ripped in several places at the seams. I’m debating on possibly rebuying it from here or looking at a different brand so that I’m not buying a new one AGAIN at the beginning of next year. I have taken it out of the bag and put it back up multiple times but that seems like it should be typical wear and tear for a pop up tent. Speaking of putting it back in the bag…oy vey. There are picture instructions and maybe I’m an idiot because each time I’m staring at the lady in the image it still takes me a few times to get it right. It’s now worse because the wire keeps popping out making closing it even more or a hassle! When ever I’ve gotten it folded down on the first attempt I go out and celebrate. Also I recommend you still cover the floor with a drop cloth or something similar. Don’t be like me and let cast off paint get all over the bottom liner in layers that crack and flick off each time I put it away.

Confusing to put back, but easy to get the hang of
I almost debated just using a tarp and hoping for the best again because I was worried this would be too much work to put away, but I actually love this. It pops up all by itself (see video). It is small enough to fit on my balcony, but big enough to hold my chair I was painting. I had 3 chairs in there at one point, but could have definitely fit 4. I was worried about putting it away because I didn’t know how to do it and the instructions were sort of confusing and I was worried that the areas that I got spray paint on would stick to each other even after I let it dry. But the sides definitely didn’t stick, I have pulled it out and put it away 3 times now. As for folding it back up, that was confusing. So this is how I do it: 1. Make it flat (by pulling the opening together and you do the same for the opposite side) 2. Lay it down on the floor 3. Fold the bottom (wider end) towards the tip about 3/4 of the way 4. Try to tuck the tip under the bottom end that you just folded over 5. Grab the sides one at a time and twist (I just twist in different directions until it automatically folds under itself)

No instructions (correction, yes there are)
Must amend this review. The instructions were found, not a piece of paper but sewed inside the stuff bag. Just unboxed this baby and got it up, but not with some initial mistakes. [That’s because it doesn’t come with any directions, not even a picture of it.]-delete. I’m an experienced camper and have put up multiple style and size tents. Yet without a picture or written instructions, you have to guess does the poles go diagonally across the top from corner to corner as in most dome tents or are they crossing somewhere else, (with one pole anchored to both front pins and the other pole anchored to both back pins crossing more to the sides). Once I went back to check the photo on Amazon, I surmised it was the latter. With that knowledge, it went together easily. It’s bigger than I had anticipated, but better too big than not big enough. The material is quite thin nylon and not ripstop nylon, so it’s more fragile like nylon stockings. Forcing the poles through the sleeves front and back could rip it. You have to make sure the material is not hung up on one of the ferrules that connect the segments of the poles. It’s best to thread the poles through the sleeve, then to their respective anchors and then attached the clips. I’m using it outdoors and I’ve put a tarp under it to decrease the possibility of something poking through the thin nylon. This will fulfill my needs nicely. Disassembling this was very easy, just reverse of putting it up. Unclip all the clips, undo the anchors and pull/push the poles thru the sleeves. Be careful not to get hung up a ferrule. Using more force will rip it. It’s a great product for the price. Putting it back into its respective stuff bags was easy. I could have built a makeshift paint booth but time and materials would cost about the same as this tent. I took one star off because it should of had instructions or just a picture.

Pleasantly Surprised with Quality
I'm repainting my kitchen cabinets, and using an HVLP sprayer. It's winter, so I didn't want to do it outside. For what I'm saving by doing it myself, the price of this shelter is negligible. I figured it'd be made as cheaply as possible, but work a few times. I was really pleasantly surprised how well made this is, and some of the thought that went into it. First, there's no confusing assembly of poles. There are only two long, segmented poles already connected with the elastic cord, so no fumbling around to find the correct ones. After sliding each through the fabric slots on top, using the connected nylon hooks that just pop onto the poles pull the "tent" outward and upward to maximize the interior space. Although it doesn't have a bottom, the interior flap around the interior bottom allow you to place something on the fabric to stabilize it. The mesh door is easy to roll up, and has an easy loop "button" mechanism to hold it open. The fabric is super lightweight, and allows exterior light thru it, so you don't have to place a light inside while spraying. I didn't use it outdoors, but it's nice that it comes with stakes if you want to use them. There's a separate bag to insert the poles in, so you won't tear the fabric when sliding them in with the tent into the outer bag. Most items like this, you'd have assembly instructions on a loose piece of paper that would get lost. This, ingeniously, has a permanent instruction page sewed into the storage bag, so it'll always be there - when you forget how to assemble a couple of years later. For around $50, this was a suprizingly good purchase!

Great portable and stowable paint booth!!
Love this paint booth. I paint a bunch of 3D Printed props and this makes going from a large carboard box to a real paint booth a no brainer! All you need is a cheap box fan and a cheap central air filter. I use this in my garage with the door open and the fan pointing out to the street and it works perfectly. I also like how large this booth is, I can easy fit large props in it and have plenty of room to work around the item. The walls of the booth are transparent enough that you get a pretty good level of light through but I would assume over time the walls will get overspray and reduce light over time. I will likely add some cheap LED lighting on a tripod as I continue to use this booth. Stowing the booth is easy once you figure out how to fold the booth and place it back in the bag/case that comes with the booth. I can easily stow it away with my paint equipment as the footprint is very slim! Definitely a great buy at this price point and would highly recommend it!

Not Waterproof and Short
I loved the idea of this - no more stray spray on other things. However if you have to let something dry and it rains, you're out of luck. If you have a nice big garage or shed where you can set this up, it'll work pretty well. If you're tall, you're also out of luck - bending or squatting for an extended period of time hurts. Setting it up is a nightmare but once it's done, it's sturdy. I had to move everything off the shed porch to accommodate it and protect the chairs I was spraying from rain. One of the videos I watched mentioned cats using it as a litter box - for me, it was mouse poop. I had to sweep it out several times. That's not the fault of the product, just country living and no where else to set it up. The screen over the front is awkward to roll up but it works to keep out most insects and critters. It also slightly cuts down on the light available so I wore a headlamp to see spots I might have missed. So if you're short with a big empty garage, go for it. Oh and the birds pooped on the outside........ Update: Now the mice have pooped and peed on the top but managed to stay away from the item I was spraying. I tried to clean the pee stains off with a scrub brush and Lysol detergent. No real luck. My main concern is putting it back in the bag with animal smells on it. I don't want my cats thinking it's a viable target. I might spray it with an enzyme pet stain remover and hope for the best. I don't have a garage to store it in so the basement will have to do.

Perfect for my requirements
Living in a flat is not ideal for airbrushing. I had a thought to make a fold away spray booth and looked on Amazon for ideas when I came across this item which suited my needs exactly. It arrived today and when I opened it I was totally impressed. It is bigger than I thought but will fit well on the table in the bay window. There is a skirt which will cover the front of the table and a flap at the rear which is velcroed over mesh. This means I can open the rear flap and dangle the skirt out of the window for ventilation with the mesh to cover any overspray. The fabric used allows good light, it is easy to clean and it all folds down into a small bag. It is like a mini version of the toilet tent we use for camping so I already have the knack of folding it. If you are new to this expect a struggle at first but check out You Tube for how to fold a toilet tent and they will take you through the process. It is very easy when you know how. The only downside is that there is no extraction to remove fumes but as I use water based acrylic this is not a significant issue. Overall very pleased

Great Spray Tent
This is a large well thought out spray tent which is ideal for spraying larger items such as tables, chairs etc. It was bigger than I thought it would be, and I will be getting the smaller tent also. It is fairly easy to assemble it. Although it recommends two people, I find I can manage it myself in about 5 minutes by laying it out on the ground, threading one of the flexible poles through the front of the tent and putting the ends of the poles into the pins at the rear of the tent. Then thread the other pole through the rear of the tent and put the ends into pins at the front of the tent. Looking at a picture of the assembled tent helps a lot. In use I found it worked well. The vents around the bottom of the tent prevents pressure building up inside and keeps the dirt out. The front mesh is useful for keeping out small flies etc. which always seem to be attracted to white paint, and will ruin the finish in seconds. It gives plenty of ventilation to allow the paint to dry. All in all a very good product.
