I Love Bugs!

Wonderful picture story book for preschoolers and beginning readers!
I love the large, colorful, fun pictures, and would only ask that the "bugs" be named more accurately. (a Walking Stick looks more like a stick than a Praying Mantis, a Water Strider walks on water, while a Water Boatman rows in it.)

I Love Bugs
Our granddaughter was fearful of bugs and we found this book ideal as an introduction to the different bugs and it helped lessen her fears. Great introduction to bugs for 4 years olds. The book detailed the bugs and gave her an opportunity to decide which bugs were friendly bugs and which ones she didn't like. Now when she sees a bug she gives it a name and befriends it.

Bug Thematic Unit
I bought this book as a addition to the class library. My classroom theme this year is bugs and insects. This theme is carried throughout the classroom from books, boards, collectable, etc. It's amazing how many books you can integrate into a theme for each content area, i.e., math, science, social studies, reading, etc.

I Love Bugs
A wonderful story about a young boy who likes to photograph bugs. Front and back pages provide an additional picture with a description of each bug and a fact about it.

I Love Bugs Review
I am an entomologist and I bought this book for my 2 1/2 year old son because he loves bugs! This book has very colorful pictures and is very cute, yet simple. There really isn't much information except that it offers some basic bug identifications. My son likes it though and so do I.

Ripped Pages
We bought new and it was not used it appears new but pages were stuck together and ripped. Was going to return but my kid begged to keep it. Not worth the new price with rips.
