I highly recommend this product!! It is easy to use and has amazing results!! After my HOA sent me a complaint of my browning lawn (hard to keep it green when my lawn is a west-facing slope with hot afternoon August temperatures), I decided to try this lawn paint because it has 100% natural ingredients, pet & environment-friendly, non-toxic, 100% pigment-based colorant — no harsh chemicals, no runoff, etc. First, I shut off my sprinklers for a couple of days so the grass would fully dry out. Then, I mowed my lawn and raked out any dead pieces of grass that were there. Finally, I mixed about 8 ounces of paint in a 1 Gallon Plastic Handheld Sprayer and covered my whole lawn in a nice even coat. It dried almost instantly. First pictures are Aug 16th, before and after. I watered my grass as normal every other day for two weeks, with absolutely no runoff from the sprinklers. Last picture is on Aug 30th after I mowed the lawn. *Almost no difference between the last two photos, but I promise they were two weeks apart. Results are stunning, no change in greenness and no paint came off or was stuck to the lawnmower. ☺️

UPDATE 8/18/24- The last picture is after watering 2 times and then last night, we had a thunder/lightning storm with torrential rain for over an hour. Today, we had another brief storm with hail and rain. As you can see by the picture, the paint has held up extremely well and the grass still looks lush and green. Get this paint! It works!! Original review - Since our city is under watering restrictions, I can only water the lawn Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. We've had some very hot days and much to my dismay, my lawn was getting brown. I had tried a different brand of lawn paint and it didn't look good (almost a neon green and some parts of grass were a weird light green) and I could tell that it wasn't good for the grass. I did some more research and ordered PetraMax max strength grass paint. Unfortunately, I don't have a battery pump sprayer, so I mixed up the paint and put it in a hand held trigger spray bottle. That took a very long time to complete my entire lawn but for me it was worth it. This paint blends so nicely with the grass. Even up close with the sun on it, it looks real and not fake. I did order a battery pump sprayer and will go over the lawn again. (Lol) It dried very quickly and when I ran my hand over the grass, there wasn't any transfer of paint to my hand. I did wear disposable gloves and even though I did not get any paint on me, it would be good to wear old clothes and shoes. It does wash off your skin very easily though. Mix it up in a place where you don't mind if it drips. I used a cardboard box to set everything in. I watered my lawn the next morning and the paint didn't run off or fade. Hoping for it to last a few weeks or longer. If you're looking for a realistic looking lawn paint, this is the one to get!

I've tried them all. This paint gives me the deepest green. And it looks natural. Like actual green healthy grass. Some paints look like fake grass. I'd say it lasts for about a month or two before it starts to fade in the California sun or when you have to mow obviously. My only complaint is that Its a more expensive than others!

These spots were painted last night. They looked green for about an hour. And this is the results the following morning. Places where there was some slight browning, on the tips, grab the grass from a dull, one more blade were also becoming more visible. I didn't have high expectations for this product. I only got it expecting a quick touch up for a party, but it it didn't even last twenty four hours.

I would not suggest this it's messy

Covers very good. Only problem is I found it can clog your sprayer. I called the company and they said it is water soluble, don’t believe them. After spraying my fifth time my sprayer wouldn’t work. Lucky I had another spray, but that clog up and able to clean the strainer, and kept on spraying. The other sprayer I had to take apart as much as I could, and eventually used a wire like you use for the toilet, and worked around inside the trigger. Also needed to use Bar Stool cleaner to clean out my wife’s measuring cup, so this stuff sticks like glue. Wish I had taken a picture before and after. Be nice if you have a 5 gallon sprayer, mind is 2 gallon, and cuts down on time spraying. Took me 3 hours to cover my lawn area

Works excellent. Did my front lawn because HOA was on my back about my grass being dead. This fixes that ! Looks exactly like grass
