Great purchase!
My husband ordered these for me to watch Hamilton, the play. I had tickets up in the nosebleed section. These were an excellent purchase bothfor the price and function. They fit in a small purse and I was able to actually see the actor’s expressions on stage. Highly recommend.

Cheap
Cheaply made but does the job. Magnification isn't very far though.

Disappointed
I found this on an Amazon top gifts with rave reviews. Bought one for myself in pink and this one for a friend. In a relatively intimate theater, both of us could see better with the “binoculars.” Very disappointing.

Retro opera glasses
Bought these for my wife, who doesn't see well. She says they work as described. Mom had a pair years ago and so did my late mother-in-law. These have apparently been around forever. I guess when something is right you don't change it.

Exactly As Described, Will Not Wow But Will Work
Bought these as a back-up for going to a performance, but did not end up using them. However, testing it on other things compared to the binoculars i did use have yielded comparable results aside from the obvious difference in eye distance and that my chosen binoculars were longer distance. These work surprisingly well and are extremelt compact, unobstrive to keep in a pocket, work bag/backpack side pocket, or perhaps in a clasp purse or fanny pack. The flatness is the real bonus, but they are otherwise comparable to longer binoculars of similar pricepoint. Their focus distance is nothing amazing, but better than no magnification and will easily get you a good quick look at animals or distant signage. I would not exactly recommend these for opera if you're in distant seats, but in a pinch they would make a difference.By design there are drawbacks, so it can be uncomfortable to use because of the fixed eye distance. But it is very well-made for the type of design it has. Lightweight, easy to use, the wheel spins easily but is not loose and will not be moved accidentally by using the binoculars, and it feels like it could survive a reasonable everyday drop. The picture is perfectly clear and very easy to focus, and opening/closing doesn't require too much effort. If you want normal binoculars, get normal binoculars. If you want a quick cheap magnifying tool to keep on your person for the occasional need or interesting bird, this is great. Even though I didn't use it for the show, I'll keep it around.

NOT AS ADVERTISED. EXTREMELY CHEAP. NO EYE RADIUS ADJUSTMENT. IMAGE MAGNIFICATION IS BARELY 2X.
I just can't see myself wasting the time to return a $9 piece of all plastic stuff. This thing is difficult to open without hurting it [all plastic] and the image quality is surprisingly good but the two eyepieces are set at one distance and I have to look through one of the eyepieces. Magnification is barely 2x and not as advertised.

Good Enough For Me
I'm not an expert on magnification devices but, this is a nice tool for my severely bad eye site to read descriptions on the TV screen at home or looking at menus on the wall behind the register at restaurants or seeing the bottles behind the bar. I'm not trying to look across the world just the room for that these are great. I don't know how durable these will be for long time use I do use these everyday though and these are holding up well. Great buy for $10 - $15.

Cheap
These glasses are cheaply made and likely won't last long. They work fine but don't have much range or much variable focus ability. I guess you get what you pay for.
