I question whether 6 ounces is needed to lube the seal. It seems that pouring in just enough to completely cover the bottom of the bowl would lube it.

I'm sorry to say this stuff was garbage. It was easier to just go buy a new seal than to waste the $ on this. Didn't even work a little bit.

Pour in with no water. Make sure valve is closed. Pour about a 1/4 of container if I remember correctly and leave overnight. Fixed my seal. Hasn't leaked since

The two products are compatible with one another and serve two different purposes. Toilet seal works in the bowl to keep the flush valve functioning . Valve lube goes straight into the blackwater (poo) tank and ALSO in the greywater (sink&shower) tank to prevent problems with the seals that keep the drain valves operational. I use both as preventive maintenance.

Does this work for the seal on cassette toilets?

This is not a sealant. It is simply advertised as a lubricant for sliding toilet parts. If you're using it as such....it should work
