Great Natural Flea & Tick Spray
I really like this spray for my dog. I wanted something plant-based that I could use without a strong chemical smell, and this one has a nice peppermint scent. Itโs easy to spray on her coat and doesnโt leave her fur feeling greasy or sticky. Iโve noticed fewer fleas and ticks since using it, especially after walks outside. The 8 oz bottle is also a convenient size to keep around. Overall, Iโm happy with it and would definitely buy it again.

Horrible flea infestation, GREAT product!
About 3 months ago I bought a house with my husband and our dog. We brought our dog in as soon as we got the keys and let her run in the backyard and in the house. Not even being in the house for a full 15 minutes and our dog was COVERED in 100-200 fleas( this was in the dead of the February cold when fleas aren't even that active!). Thankfully we had a couple months before moving in which gave us time to treat the place. We tried treating with diatomaceous earth but it didn't really help and created a mess, we removed the carpet which helped a little, but the fleas were still everywhere. I got Vet's Best because it is primarily a natural solution compared to chemical based ones you can find. I bought a few bottles because our yard is larger than the area than they recommend a bottle can cover. I also bought one bottle of the indoor use product. I sprayed the yard with one bottle and was initially disappointed because I still saw a few fleas two days later. Since I had extra bottles and I knew the recommended dose shouldn't have covered our yard, I sprayed again being fed up with seeing fleas. At this point I also went in the house with the indoor spray and sprayed along every single baseboard, as well as spraying the general room areas. It has now been ~3 months since we treated with Vet's Best and ~1 month since we moved in and we have seen only 2 fleas, both of which were found dead. None in the house, none in the yard and none on the dog. Since the initial treatment, I have been keeping up with the recommended spraying every ~3 weeks for the yard and the occasional spray here or there in the house(just out of paranoia). For a more long term solution I will be applying beneficial nematodes; however, my husband and I joke how we will keep ordering Vet's Best for the smell( it smells AMAZING!). The only down sides I found was the application it's self. Since I have now used several bottles, I can tell that the dilution is not consistent. Some bottles seem to deliver the material very quickly, while others seem to give an even distribution until the bottle is done. For both bottle dilutions it seems to run out pretty quickly, so I recommend moving fast. Overall I cannot rate this product highly enough. It smells great, its natural and it gets the job done. I could not be happier that my house is flea-free!

I would wear a mask if you are sensitive to string smell ,its a strong smell of cinnamon
Works pretty well if you spray on the comb too brush out fleas and dog fur The smell is pretty potent, so I wear a mask Very effective on dog bedding as well Other than that pretty good product

Keeps bugs away! Love it!
I have been using this product, both for yard and the hand held spray bottle, for about 4 or 5 years. First when living on the Olympic Peninsula, then when I lived in Texas, and now back in Idaho. We had fleas in WA, and it was great for the cat and the dog (didnโt spray cat, just area). Plus got rid of the perpetual mosquitos. You canโt rid your yard entirely of them as they come from other areas. In Texas we had the grubs that became June bugs. What a MESS! I sprayed the patio where they came in due to the light. The next day they were all dead. They avoided the patio in the twilight, but came again when the light was on. The next day dead again. Love it! Helps save the yard and the newly planted trees, not to mention making the patio nice to be around. The spiders quit making their webs on the patio, and the wasps stayed away. The yard wasnโt sprayed as it was 1/2 acre and we had Fire Ants that had to be treated so just let the professionals do it. But the four dogs were treated and were happy for it. Now in Idaho again I have been using in the yard because we not only have mosquitos, but what they call โno-see-usโ which are attracted to windows, mirrors, your eyes, your glassesโฆwaterโฆanything that shines. This has been super great! I spray around the door and the deck which seems to repel the wasps from making their home nearby, as well as the tiny little pests! Even sprayed the Lilacs as the wasps were starting to make their homes in the bushes. Doesnโt seem to kill them, but they donโt like the smell and go elsewhere. I noticed that a neighbor must be using the same product as I could smell the clove and peppermint coming from a few houses away. Sure will help keep the neighborhood void of the pesky pests! If you use it, give some to a neighbor or two and that will help tremendously!!

Helpful
It works pretty well. Smell is even refreshing after couple minutes.Just make sure you don't spray your skin, it's not poisonous but pretty annoying. I was spraying, furniture, carpet,my dog's fur, walls. I feel it helped in the fight with fleas. My dog almost never has fleas, but this year was a very bad experience. Previous year spray by itself kept my puppy safe, this year had to use prescribed treatment on top of spray.

Ok so 2017 was a terrible year for ticks in the Northeast
Ok so 2017 was a terrible year for ticks in the Northeast, usually this goes hand in hand with terrible mosquitoes and fleas as well. We had tons of rain and a very mild winter. So early spring I managed to pick up multiple ticks just walking across my lawn to garbage can about 50 ft every trip. I got a total of six stuck in me this way not to mention how many I caught. I got mad and bought this stuff sprayed the lawn. The 1st thing is the smell is fantastic neighbors walking their pets ask what was that wonderful smell. My cat and dog both seemed to like it and roll about in the lawn as well, maybe I did as well. (not sure if this was good or bad from pet safety prospective) I did this a total of 2 times and not 1 tick for the rest of spring, summer, and fall. Also in last 6 years the mosquitoes where always terrible we didn't notice them this year, live near a lake as well. As far as fleas go pets are treated with Advantix II for dogs and advantage for cats so can't really comment on flea control. However, anyone who thinks once you have a flea infestation this is going to help your barking up the wrong tree. Flee life cycle runs about 3/4 weeks and 95% of the flees in your home are eggs. Once you have them raid flea killer plus carpet and room works wonderfully to kill everything not on your pets. I used it on hardwood floors, carpeting and my sofas if needed. Better than a fogger in my opinion which gets on everything. Also make sure to vacuum works wonders as well. How you want to get rid of them off your pet if up to you. I like the advantix II and the advantage works better than frontline and once infestation is clear it stays clear if you apply it monthly. If you try to push it much more than a month you will get another flee infestation. Also if you have cats and dogs advantix II can be fatal to cats. So if your cats and dogs like to spoon avoid advantix II for dogs and try something else. Also don't mix the 2 up make sure you are putting advantage on your cat.

Effective tick repellent
My dog is on the flea/tick/heartworm/etc pill. But that does not repel ticks until after they bite. I was still picking off about 2 ticks a day from the top of her fur. This lead to ticks is missed leaving the dog in bed and getting on my wife and I. She found this unacceptable. So I needed something to repel ticks before they bite (more quickly). This did the trick. Greatly reduces the number of ticks I find on top of her fur, and eliminated the ones on the Skin. And no more bed ticks! I apply after her monthly bath. I just spray my hands and run her hair through my fingers making her hair moist. That seems to work through the next bath. My only complaint (and the reason for the 4 stars) is the sprayer does not work well. (This is for the 8 oz size with the push down pump.) After a few pumps it stays down and won't pump any more. This only lasts several seconds, but it is frustrating to fight the sprayer while wrestling the dog. Have been using for about a year and our bottle is still half full. Decided to buy the bigger bottle with the trigger sprayer to see if that works better even though we had lots left. So other than the sprayer I like this product. It minimizes the time ticks will stay on the dog and seems to prevent them moving from the hair surface to the skin surface.
