The bookends are exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size and good quality. They are the exact color I was expecting. I have a lot of books, the bookends have not bent or scratched.

These bookends were just what I was looking for! Very simple, sturdy, and they blend in well with my books. The color is solid black, and there are non-slip pads on the bottom. Very good for the price!

I love these simple bookend's! They hold my books quite securely without detracting from the books.

I wanted these so I could put my board games on rolling wire racks upright, rather than stacked. I really wanted something with longer plates since most boardgames are pretty thick and I wanted the weight of at least two to hold them down. In the end, I rotated them so the "long" end was under the games. That worked. They're strong enough for my needs. Pretty much the only thing that even came close to what I needed. I do wish the feet were included separately (one of the few times I'm upset that cheap manufacturing actually went the extra miles) so I could put them on what was the "bottom" for me. They're not what I would call "heavy duty" though. 100% adequate.

I know that these are supposed to be bookends (and they are very good for that) but I have found that they are also really good for use as a small shelf. I needed something small that could be wall mounted for our 5G home internet gateway box and these are perfect. I have also used them before - attached to a wall - for getting my computer speakers off the desk and out of the way. Excellent multi-purpose item.

Mine came slightly bent out, but that is not a big deal as they were easily bent back to a true 90. They hold up books and movies alike. They are not visually intrusive on a shelf, which is always a plus. Their low profile means they don't raise your media up too much when set on them.
