Fitted to a VW T6 Startline model. Amazing features list and a great quality picture. Added DAB+, Dash cam and reverse camera. NOTE. Plug in the GPS receiver before switching on! Before fitting I bought a fitting kit CTKVW26 from Dynamic Sounds. This made all the connections fit without any messing about but also included steering wheel canbus connector. The facia plates were also a must to fit the VW dashboard better. Sound quality out of the box is superb plus plenty of opportunity to tweak the equaliser if you need to. Comes preloaded with all the apps you'll need plus download anything else via WiFi from the app store. I'm happy with Google Maps and have downloaded most of the UK for offline travel to save battery on the phone. That said the Android pairs quickly to the phone if needed. With 64gb you can easily download Europe! What could be improved. There are 4 USB cables two are used for the dash cam and DAB+ leaving two tucked into the glovebox - at some stage I'll figure a way to neatly plug them into a blanking plate on the dashboard facia.

Bought this as it had everything I was looking for in a headunit. Did look at brand names Sony etc.. But wanted full android Google play . And this has it all. Bought the rear Atoto camera also . (NOT FITTED YET). This was fitted in a Honda Fn2 Type-R. And I opted to get the genuine fascia. The Atoto trim I had to sand down around the edges on the bigger trim in order to fit. Was time consuming as I didn't want to rush and make it look a mess. Used the Connect 2 leads and did have to connect the wires for the steering wheel harness. Key 1 to steering wheel key#(+) , Key2 to steering wheel (+) , Gnd to Gnd. Once you hook these up in the right order you then can configure the controls to which button does what. Very straight forward as the manual is easy to follow. I would say Atoto customer service is very very good. I have contacted them a few times and always got a response back. I have put the picture up of the button configuration as the manual does not explain what buttons do what and I think it is important. Especially when you come to assign the buttons on the steering wheel. Android Auto works well even when the phone screen is locked. The main screen going through voice controls via Bluetooth is a bit to get used to. If your screen is locked then the command will say "unlock your phone then I can make the call". To get around this you will have to add the Atoto as a trusted Bluetooth device in phone settings. So keep your phone screen unlocked when you get into the car once your phone connects via Bluetooth then you can operate the controls via voice ie sending WhatsApp or make a call via Bluetooth. This will keep the connection even if the screen locks. But if the screen is locked before connecting to the Atoto via Bluetooth you will not be able to control calls WhatsApp etc..... A bit faffy.

I have installed this head unit in a 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero and the installation was reasonably simple. When you get the kit its a little daunting because they supply so many cables but once you realise you only need one the install is simple The kit comes with 2 ISO cables and I found it was cable B that was the one to use for the SAAB I have since added steering wheel controls and front and rear Atoto cameras both of which works without a problem Great product

Worked great for 2 years, not it's just stuck on a reboot loop. Can't even load the interface to see what the problem is or hard reset. No response from Atoto yet either

There are lots of things to like about the Atoto S8 Ultima (Gen2) car stereo. Mostly, I like having the ability to use a wide range of Android apps, and not being limited to a handful of 'CarPlay' or 'Android Auto' compatible apps. I like having offline maps capability, and native SatNav without the need to use my phone. It is a shame that you can't use the SIM Card in the device for phone calls or texts. The harness for some reason, didn't have the amplifier wired up, so I had to cannibalise the spare harness to rig up an extra pin, and after that, I felt confident splicing some of the other wires needed to get the steering wheel control, reversing camera and aerial fully working, In general, it's behaving very well, and I'm very happy with it. I have found a useful forum on XDA and now have registered my device, so hopefully I can get the last few niggles ironed out and have a fully functional system. The responsiveness, and boot up time are great. Bluetooth unlocking is great. Carplay works really smoothly. I just need to find a way to get the cars OEM bluetooth module to connect up properly with the head unit and all the important parts will be taken care of.

I bought this double din stereo to upgrade my old stereo in my 2003 Lexus RX300. This has transformed the journeys now as we can listen to our music via Spotify, BT music, and take handsfree calls and much more. I done a lot of research before purchasing the S8 Ultra. I don't use all the features such as utilising the built in sim card, but android auto works wonders via Bluetooth/wifi. Android auto is the thing we use the most and my wife & I are very pleased with the performance. I've also used their customer support on a few occasions and the support is great. There's usually a few days delay in response but they are very helpful. Had the stereo for 1 year now and very pleased

After ordering the correct harness, I did this up myself quite easily, including the atoto test view camera (which I order separately) Once fitted in, and a new fascia installed too, the stereo itself is rather easy to set up and use. If you register with the website, there is an update which makes wireless android auto work seamlessly. The only thing I've found which I don't like is not atotos fault, but actually Googles, because the Google assistant can't make calls when asked.

Full of features but very difficult to install, the screen is not that great either its not very clear a bit fuzzy. Mine makes a very annoying engine noise i have tried a few things to filter but no luck, probably my car but the original stereo didn't have a problem. Also not sure how good the support is, i can't find any updates. Lets just say I would not buy a second one.

Avevo la A6 pro e ora ho la S8, dopo aver provato radio anche di altri noti marchi. Con la Atoto S8 Gen 2 che ha Andorid 10 e con playstore si apre un mondo di funzioni. Fa di tutto. Potete infatti installare qualsiasi app vi serva. Dal meteo, a un player musicale più professionale e perfino raiplay, dazn o infinity o un navigatore specifico. Non c'è niente di meglio in commercio. La qualità è eccelsa, ancora meglio della Atoto a6 Pro. Per prima cosa potete scegliere l'immagine di avvio, personalizzandola con il logo della vostra auto, ci sono tutti i produttori ordinati per nome. Così sembra proprio la radio originale della vostra auto. La radio si avvia in 2 secondi da quando girate la chiave. NON esiste niente di più veloce. Si può anche installare la retrocamera compatibile atoto hd02lr o hd03lr , che vi sarà particolarmente di aiuto nei parcheggi o nelle varie manovre. Se collegate il telefono con il cavetto avete android auto o se avete un Iphone avete apple car play. Per iphone apple car play funziona anche senza cavetto. Una funzionalità sbalorditiva è quella di fare tramite l'app easyconnection il mirroring. così tutto quello che vedete sul telefono lo vedete sulla radio. Tramite il dual bluetooth potete connettere anche un secondo dispositivo. Utile per le chiamate o per avere la connessione internet sull'atoto. Ma in questo caso vi consiglio di fare sempre l'hotspot dal telefono e collegare l'atoto alla rete wifi del vostro telefono. Le chiamate si sentono perfettamente, e dall'altra parte vi sentiranno bene. Tra le altre cose vi forniscono pure un microfono che potete far mettere in una posizione più vantaggiosa. Potete lanciare la chiamata direttamente dalla S8 o componendo il numero oppure tramite la rubrica vi ritrovate tutti i contatti che avete sul telefono. Per quanto riguarda il segnale gps, io la uso con maps ed è precisissimo. Con Google maps vi potete scaricare le mappe che vi servono e funziona anche offline. Inoltre è compatibile anche con WAZE! Altra chicca non da poco è che potete dividere lo schermo e avere per esempio in metà il navigatore e nell'altra parte Youtube o perfino YT Music. La qualità audio è davvero superlativa. Ha un amplificatore toshiba e un equalizzatore che ha 9 preset ma potete pure impostarlo come volete!! Potete pure gestire i bassi. Sulla Ultra trovate pure l'uscita ottica SPDIF. Inoltre ha pure un'ottima funzione e cioè quella di compensazione della velocità: in pratica se attivate questa funzione, la radio autonomamente aumenta il volume quando voi aumentate la velocità, e lo diminuisce quando voi rallentate. Inoltre c'è pure l'opzione, se avete messo la retrocamera, che quando innestate la retro abbassa il volume. La radio ha l'RDS e vi dice pure il nome del programma che c'è in quella stazione o il titolo della canzone che stanno trasmettendo! Si sente bene e si può anche acquistare l'antenna DAB+ per avere la digital radio Io ho preso la Ultra e c'è la possibilità di metterci direttamente la sim per la connessione dati o per chiamare. Ma se collegate il telefono in bluetooth fate le telefonate direttamente tramite il vostro telefono. Lo schermo è un QLED FULL hd da 7pollici! una cosa stratosferica! si vede benissimo ed è così luminoso che si vede bene anche di giorno e c'è molto sole. In più la radio ha la funzione che quando voi accendete di sera i fari , essendo quindi più buio, diminuisce la luminosità dello schermo e viceversa. La ultra ha 64gb di memoria e 4gb di ram quindi è praticamente impossibile farla impallare. Ci sono pure le gesture: potete comandare la radio senza toccarla. Ad esempio aumentare il volume o scenderlo facendo uno specifico gesto con la mano. Devo dire che sembra una stupidaggine ma è molto utile per non distogliere l'attenzione dalla guida. Le porte usb non mancano, ce ne sono 4. Potete collegarci una chiavetta o mettere direttamente una micro sd per avere la vostra musica preferita. Potete collegarci il telefono e tramite la porta usb quick charge potete addirittura sfruttare la ricarica rapida qualcomm 3.0. Per concludere: NON ESISTE UNA RADIO con ANDROID MIGLIORE!!

Tout bonnement parfait ! Etant contraint d'utiliser un système Android pour pouvoir y connecter mes applications de monitoring pour ma voiture, j'ai testé plusieurs autoradio Android mais le soucis est qu'il est très difficile d'en trouver un qui a réellement les performance annoncées. Généralement les autoradios Android sont issu de produit chinois de mauvaise facture : ils sont lent, très peu fiable, captent très mal la radio, envoient du son de mauvaise qualité dans les haut parleurs de la voiture et n'ont pas les performances promises. Or là, avec mon nouvel ATOTO S8 Ultra, je suis agréablement surpris de voir que mon investissement valait le coup ! J'ai pris le "Ultra" car je voulais pouvoir y mettre une carte SIM afin d'avoir la 4G directement dans la voiture et ne plus dépendre de mon téléphone portable pour faire un partage de connexion. L'autoradio est très performant, très fluide, aucune latence, il capte très bien la radio et je redécouvre les capacités des haut parleurs de ma voiture ! Enfin un autoradio Android qui fonctionne bien ! Interface Android 100% personnalisable, vous pouvez télécharger des applications et mêmes des jeux, modifier la disposition de vos apps et de vos raccourcis, ajouter des widgets, changer de fond d'écran, changer le logo de démarrage et mettre le logo de votre voiture, etc... Aussi, le SAV est au top ! J'ai reçu un premier autoradio avec un petite défaillance mais heureusement Lavendrer était là pour m'accompagner dans un série de test et m'a finalement proposer un nouvel autoradio en remplacement ! Le SAV fait l'effort de parler en français, que demander de plus ? Installé dans une Honda Civic EK4 avec console 2DIN de Civic EM1 / EJ6 / EJ8

A día de hoy, encontrar un sistema de audio para el coche basado en Android y que ofrezca calidad de producto, garantía y el servicio de apoyo técnico que esperamos, no es fácil, puede haber desconfianza al momento de elegir y uno no se fía o va perdido, ya que en este ámbito, los basados en Android, suelen ser marcas no habituales o no tan conocidas, las que se lanzan a crear este tipo de producto. Pues quería comentar brevemente mi experiencia con este modelo de ATOTO, que compré después de mirar mucho y de muchas dudas al elegir, por desconocer la marca y no tener referencias de ella, y por su precio, porque barato no es, pero es que igual lo vale. Todos conocemos las grandes marcas que hay en este sector, las más famosas digamos. Llamarse de una determinada manera u otra como alguna de esas marcas conocidas, da un plus de confianza a la hora de hacer una compra. En este caso podéis empezar a considerar a ATOTO, quizás no aún como una de las grandes, pero si un fabricante con productos a la altura de las mejores marcas o las más conocidas, por prestaciones, cálidad de producto y sobre todo por servicio técnico. Este ATOTO S8 Ultra es un sistema de audio basado en Android 10 muy completo, no le falta de nada. La pantalla tiene una calidad fantástica, la resolución que ofrece no defrauda en absoluto, así como la memoria interna y la RAM, suficientes para gestionar con soltura el software de este S8, 4 de RAM Y 64 interna. Va rapidísimo, no he notado lentitud en ninguno de los procesos que gestiona, abre y carga las aplicaciones increíblemente rápido. Me ha sorprendido, cuando está apagado, lo rápido que se pone en marcha, es increíble, no he visto teléfono móvil que se ponga en marcha más rápido que este ATOTO S8 Ultra, cargando el sistema completamente en cuestión de segundos. Tiene todo tipo de conexiónes, no vas a echar en falta de nada. 4 usb, entradas de audio y video para cámaras, salidas y entradas RCA, antena radio, WiFi, GPS, datos, ranura para tarjeta sim, entrada auxiliar, sensor de gestos y un largo etc de características que lo hacen ser uno de los más completos, si no el que mas. Incluyendo además todos los accesorio necesarios para el montaje, tanto de cableado, soportes, marcos, protectores de pantalla etc. En la descripción viene todo muy bien y mejor detallado y tal cual se cumple, cosa que puedo decir según la experiencia que estoy teniendo a medida que lo voy usando. Aquí solo quería expresar, para aquellos que no os atreváis a dar el paso, que la marca no os va a defraudar, sobre todo cuando tratéis con el servicio de atención al cliente o servicio técnico los aspectos en los que tengáis dudas o problemas de cualquier tipo, es ahí donde realmente uno se da cuenta que no se ha equivocado apostando por esta marca.

I really like this device based on the following experiences: - Installation was really simple and quick, more harness were included and brackets as well. - It operates fast and there is no input lag at all. - It looks awesome and I can see the screen in high sunlight in a convertible - All of the accessories were plug and play and everything is installed without any issues. - Audio quality is great - Customer support quick and helpful, seriously, it's amazing! Disadvantages for me: - hand gesture sensor & commands are useless in a small car with manual gearbox like mine, it's always recognize shifting movements as input, I had to turn it off. - I do not like the on-dash camera, in case of forgetting to release the sd card before removing it (even if it has no power), all of the data will be lost and the sd card become useless forever. (I tried to format it with different OS: Windows/iOS/Android/Ubuntu, but I had no success so far) - Startup time is acceptable, although it's not incredible quick as it described in many reviews. The price/value ratio is awesome. I bought in the last few years more aftermarket radios and this is much quicker/prettier/cheaper than the previous ones. I could really recommend this radio.
