Easy switch - real Varta
Easy switch into my Sony Wf1000X XM3 and lots of refreshed battery life/no more early warnings. Cells are Varta as advertised. Would be good to include in the instructions whether the orange tape around the outside should be retained or removed.

Worked on WF MX100MX3
Like all the batteries died on the MX3 headphones. I gave these a try and they are working and giving me close to original time on them. Well worth the money spent as I did not want new headphones i just wanted these to work as they once did. If the replacement batteries last the 3-4 years of the originals I’ll do it again in that time.

Awesome Purchase for Sony WF-1000XM3
I have a pair of Sony WF-1000XM3 which I bought at release date back in August of 2020. I use them regularly for listening to music while at work and making phone calls. Over the 3 years of ownership, the original batteries weren't holding their charge any more. I was getting about 2.5 hours listening to music when these were rated for 6 hours. Because i didn't want to throwaway the earbuds, I decided to test these batteries. I did my research and found out that these are the same brand and model batteries as the original ones. I looked at youtube video for replacing them and did the work myself to replace the old ones. Installing is easy but you need to becareful not to break trims, and pull on cables. Once I replaced the batteries, it was a huge difference in battery performance. I am getting the OEM hour rating of 6+ hours again. I am happy I made this small investment instead of having to purchase another high set of earbuds. It's been 3 months since I installed the new batteries and they are still goong strong! Depending if these last me another 2 or 3 years, I am willing to purchase another set to keep my earbuds going!. I would highly recommend if you own a pair of WF-1000XM3.

Works fine. Cheaper than buying new ear plugs.
Went in fine. Doesn’t last as long as the original but seems to have about 80% time of the original.

Not all the tools it came with are needed. At least for my application.
Excellent parts. Great kit.

Older earbuds charge like new again!
These were used in repairing a pair of older open box Samsung Galaxy Buds Live True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds - Mystic White earbuds. The process was much simpler than I imagined. Part of what made this easy was the clear instruction on the page as well as the ifixit instructions on breaking down the earbuds and installing these, properly. For safety reasons I strongly advice that you carefully read all instructions before performing this on your own. The added tools were largely in my case, though the screwdriver may help, I recommend a more rigid plastic pry tool, in case you are using these for the same earbuds that I did. Definitely don't use metal on your earbuds, or you risk scratching or breaking them. Bonus that these are genuine made in Germany batteries! The old batteries wouldn't hold a charge for longer than 20 minutes, but these held a charge for a full day on the road, taking calls and listening to music, with no issue. They charged quickly, and calibrated easily with the charging case for the earbuds. These worked perfectly.

Avoid... Defective and won't fully charge even after several days
I took too long to install these and found out too late that they're defective. I installed these in my Galaxy Buds Live earbuds. They were a perfect match for the old batteries and fit perfectly. The issue is that I've never been able to get them fully charged since installing. Additionally, the buds aren't recognized anymore by my phone or tablet. When I put the old, worn batteries back into the buds, they connected to my phone immediately and when I plugged them in to charge, they did charge fully and the light on the case turned green. When I put these batteries back in, I had the same issues as before with the buds not connecting to anything and never fully charging, even after a factory reset. Avoid these and find something better.

One good, one a dud that almost burned me.
Unfortunately I kept these sealed for several months while putting off my battery replacement project and therefor couldn't return them or message the seller for customer support. I wanted to replace the batteries on my on my Sony WF-1000XM3 and theses were just about the only batteries available at the time but weren't cheap. I pulled the trigger anyway figuring the name brand VARTA was worth the cost. I replaced the first battery successfully and then went to replace the second one. After peeling off the sticker the battery started to heat up. At first it felt like a 'shock' but then I realized that the pain was just the battery getting really hot. Since these are li-ion I knew that it meant something was wrong and was afraid it was going to expand and/or catch fire. Luckily it eventually cooled back down and I figured what the heck, I would stick it in my headphone and see what happened when I charged it (dumb idea I know but I kept a close eye on it). Anyway, long story short, both headphones charged for about the same amount of time in the case but the one with the defective battery discharged in a matter of minutes. After about 20 min or so it was dead and needed recharging while the other one was going strong. Lesson learned I guess. Open and try the product during the return period.
