Not perfect match
Not a perfect match but cant tell from far away on small scratch repairs. Seems to be holding up well sofar.

If you're ordering a tricoat, be aware, this is but ONE part of three.
I got this for a Ford that is a pearlescent white. If you use this color alone, it will NOT match the car's original color if the scratch is anything more than superficial. If you're down to bare metal or black plastic, you have more work to do. I got this to paint a replacement backup sensor that comes unpainted (black plastic). In order to get it to match, I sprayed the sensor with primer, let that dry. Then I sprayed the primer with plain white. Next, I used the product being reviewed here since it adds the metallic/pearlescent finish. Finally, you have to clearcoat it or it will be a matte finish. If you just brush this on anything other than a white finish, it will just be metallic silver. You must also add a gloss to it. The finished product once you do everything properly, is a very good match to the original, but you can't just smear this stuff on by itself. The only part I didn't like is that the consistency is a lot runny. If you're not careful, the surface will not be even. Also, it will take at least two light coats applied gently. The stuff in the pen has a lot of solvent and will remove the white layer below if you're not careful. One quick brushstroke and be done. In the photo, you can see the upper right (old) sensor side was primed and painted with the Duplicolor brush. It is silver, not white. On the face of the sensor, you can see the actual car color. On the lower left sensor side, you can see a sloppy test with primer, white, and Duplicolor (did not gloss the test part).

No specific directions for use so I first watched several YouTube videos. Professionals sanded or used rubbing compounds to smooth out the area and paint between coats. I only used the included buffing tip to remove any loose edges, wiped with alcohol, applied paint with included applicator brush, then the following day I applied the clear coat. The excess unused paint should be enough to reuse for future scratches and road pitting. This was definitely worth the money and made the scratch, not perfect, but far less visible. The application was very easy, note that the Paint is not a filler and will only cover the area that was removed. Paint I used was the Ford White Platinum Tricoat, which I applied in two separate coats.

Best product.
I don’t write reviews. But this is the best there is. Keep in mind that both ends up, one is base paint, one is the sparkle and tri coat. It will not be perfect, but it beats 3,000 for a paint job. The color is perfection, it’s the texture from the scratch that I couldn’t hide. But still, if you’re not three inches from it staring at it, you won’t notice it.

Seems ok, but...
The color was close to but not an exact match for the factory color, even though the paint code was the same as my vehicle. And the built in brush is too small for anything other than a small spot the size of a pin head, but I poured some into a 2 oz Dixie cup and used an artist brush to touch up the bigger areas on my fender. Only time will tell if it holds up to the elements though. The price was about 1/2 of the local parts store, so there's that !
