Where is this made in?

Dear customer, Good Day! Thanks for your support! Our chopsticks are made in China. The design of the chopsticks is a Japanese design. The design of the chopsticks is simple and stylish. Ideal for daily use or as a gift. Hope these can help you. If you need more help, please feel free contact us via Amazon. Best Regards, Simmons

Are these really dishwasher safe? Has anyone been washing theirs in a dishwasher?

I only hand wash them. They do seem durable enough to go in dishwasher, though. They have a lacquer like coating. I just would be concerned that any type of chopsticks would slip through the holes of the silverware compartment of my dishwasher due to the size of the holes in the basket.

what is the material of these chopsticks?

They are made of wood but the the kind of wood I am not entirely sure of.

are they made in japan

Google translate says Japanese language with the words "bashi wood" and "chopsticks" plus a few adjectives but no "Made in Japan" on the box. So not a positive yes.

so cute!

If you’ve been thinking about getting these, get them! I got these for my mom for her birthday and she absolutely loves these. The texture on them is nice and you just have to make sure that you hand wash them because of all the detailing.
