Carry on day hike backpack that fits under Euro airlines
Pack was carry approved on all flights we took, even small euro airlines. And up to all of the day hikes - takes multiple water bottles and swimsuits and towels with ease. Sufficient pockets and easy access. Pack is very light and straps were sufficiently comfortable. One improvement would be more solid frame support.

Simple backpack meant for day travel
Good size for a one man day pack. I can easily pack socks, set of clothes, rain poncho and a tarp. There are two exterior pockets to fit water and any additional open air goods. Rope and other small essentials can be packed in the top pouch.

Expecting more
This is an ordinary daypack that I could have gotten cheaper. My other Mystery Ranch has more pocket to seperate your needs. This one is just "ok"!!!!!

Want a perfect short hike pack?
I normally choose mystery ranch for their suspension but wanted a new lightweight pack for the short hike minimums.... a water bladder, first aid, a layer and some other odds and ends. I looked at Camelback and the usual suspects. Tried this and am sold. Great stitching, overload capacity, 3 zip for easy access and just the right padding to make it work as intended without a bunch of silly straps or doodads.

Great pack for easy access
I’ll be using this pack, with custom lining, for my large Vortex spotting scope. The three-way zippers allow easy access to the scope and all accessories.

Quality construction
Was looking for a backpack for day hikes and city sightseeing; small and unobtrusive.Simple, straightforward, lightweight, no nonsense well built pack. Plenty of room for lunch, stove, cup change of socks, first aid, outer layer and a few odds and ends.As others have mentioned, straps lack padding, but at these weights no big deal. However at 6’ and broad chested, the straps lack adjustments and quickly become too short and the pack just doesn’t sit comfortably. Throw in a couple of full water bottles and full pack, and the lack of adjustability doesn’t do the pack justice.I’ll use the pack for sightseeing and for very, very lightweight day hikes. Sad though as the pack itself is much more capable than the lack of adjustments allow.
