This is the whistle you wished your coaches didn’t have. Noise level is well above average, lightweight, and easy to use.

I did not use it for hiking. I use this whistle daily as a PE coach. This is my best friend lol. Defenilty a durable whistle it last me a long time. The noise level is very clear and loud and reaches the other side of the street. Every PE coach should have this or a referee.

The sound quality of this whistle is very good but is a different pitch compared to a standard whistle. It is really comfy, durable and comes in a few different colors. I used it all season and it shows no signs of any malfunctions or wear and is a great value for your money.

I am a Fox40 purist when it comes to whistles. I coach Football and Basketball and am always in need of a good whistle. I decided to go with the Epik to try out something different that I am originally used to. It is LOUD. But I love it, my players dont, but I can guarantee you they will not be saying "Coach, I didn't hear a whistle!". The Snap on the lanyard is nice, love that on the Fox40s.Would recommend for outdoor use. If you are a camp counselor, I would consider some of the other Fox40s unless you are working a lifeguard station or a station where it is important you get someone's attention in case of or to prevent an emergency.
