Para la mayoría de los que se operan de los tobillos/pies, el problema con la bota ortopédica es la altura y que no hay un zapato alto que compense la altura de la bota. Sin esto, caminas chueco, te duele la espalda y la cadera, etc. Yo creo que es un artículo indispensable y la verdad funcionó muy bien, puedo caminar sin problema incluso sin bastón y manejar sin dificultad. Muy recomendable, no lo piensen mucho, es una gran ayuda en tu recuperación

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so having my hips out of alignment because my heels were at different heights while I was wearing a walking boot after my ankle surgery would have been a *big* problem for me. This product had a huge impact on my stability (fewer falls and less wobbling), my mobility (better), and my pain level (significantly less) while I was using the walking boot, making it possible for me to transition away from both knee scooter and crutches sooner, more safely, and more comfortably. The fact that it could be adapted to different heel heights as I changed shoes was a definite plus!

This product is very helpful for the people who are using the the Vacoped boot. It helps to level the height preventing knee and foot pain on your good leg. Only issue is the size is a little smaller, i should have ordered a large instead of a medium to fit the shoes.

Rarely is a product so good and functional as this one. I was initially skeptical whether if I need this after my Achilles tendon tear, where I had to wear an Aircast boot on one leg. Once I got this, it revolutionized my ability to freely walk. During my recovery I traveled a lot, and took this shoe leveler on hikes, into a cave, a mine and onto beaches. It took all the terrain and all the punishment of uneven paths. I now even use it to play walking pickleball while my other foot is in the boot. The product seems to have hardly any wear after all that abuse! Amazing quality product! My only request would be for the manufacturer to include an extra layer that can be added in to elevate even more. For anyone with Achilles tears, we have to have a heel rise in the boot, so we need more height. I solved this by buying a pair of flat flip-flops, cutting out the toe holders and sliding it in as an extra layer. A $5 solution and it worked well!
