Grows well
I ordered this seed mix for our sulcata quite a while ago. We routinely grow trays of grass for tortie. Ours is still young, doesn’t weight quite 2 lbs. We take a small tray about an 1 1/2 in deep. Put in a layer of soil. Spread in the seeds lightly cover. Water well. Sit them on a windowsill and within 2-3 days we will have srouts starting. It takes the different varieties different times to sprout. So we see some types earlier than others. In about two weeks we will have a good growth of 3 inches. At which point we will cut that off and feed it. Allowing the grass mix to grow up again. We do the cuttings a few times per tray. And then when it gets root bound we start again. With new dirt layer. We used to when Twig was even smaller just put the tray in and let Twig eat right out of it. But now Twig pulls the grass out by the root since it’s a shallow tray. So we started cutting it to feed instead.

Grew fast great price!
Update: they still do come fast. Amazon doesn’t show up saying it’s delivered. Happened last time too but if you check your mail it’s there. Also while waiting for new seeds I rewatered old soil and a few more sprouts came up. I was so surprised, so if you think it isn’t growing as many as you think it should just keep at it. Used these for my sulcata enclosure he loved it and it grew fast. I am ordering more because at the time he wasn’t foraging. But now that he is outside I’ll be growing more inside for him. I had tons of plants with the smaller package buying the big one this time.

Every seed grows!
I've ordered several times and always arrives quickly. I built a planter/grazing pen for my tortoise and she loves this mix. I am surprised every time I plant more of these seeds because I think every seed grows.

They will sprout nicely indoors!
I am growing these indoors, and they got planted a week ago next to a very chilly window (it's winter in Maine) and they are sprouting vigorously!

No luck with these. I’ll try again. I live in Southern California, should be easy to grow

Not what I expected
This product states that there are 54,000 seeds or a quarter pound. When I got the package it was in a tiny Ziploc bag. It hardly weighed anything and although I did not count the seeds to see if they were 54,000 seeds, I would like to confidently say there was probably not even 1000.
