BARK&SPARK Omega 3 for Dogs, Fish Oil Skin & Coat, Itch&Allergy Support

I picked Bark&Spark because the active and inactive ingredients were all ones I know and understand and felt very comfortable with. I have a 5 yr old, 60lb German Shepard/Red Healer mix that I rescued from a couple. She had heartworms. Besides that she was itching and sneezing. I started her on B&S and it has been the best decision. It took several months to completely work (because of heartworm treatment). But now her allergies appear under control. This is a great product and I won’t hesitate to recommend it. Just give it enough time to work as we don’t always know what all our fur babies are fighting! I want her to have a healthy life and I feel good that B&S will contribute to that!

Our very particular pup sheds a great deal and these have cut down the shedding quite a lot. He does enjoy them once he knows there is no medicine involved- our dog has been medicated twice a day for 4 years due to an illness. We have to throw them around and walk away- then he thinks they're treats. He has four every day! Thanks for helping with the shedding! Also, buying two at a time is a great deal.

I really like this BARK&SPARK Omega 3 supplement, mainly because it comes in the form of soft chews, which makes it much easier to give to my dog than liquid oil or capsules. I purchased it mainly as a supplement to support skin and coat care, and I like how easy it is to incorporate into my dog’s daily routine. Another positive point is the salmon flavor. My dog takes it like a treat, so I don’t have to hide it in his food or struggle to get him to take it. For me, that makes a big difference when it comes to a supplement used regularly. The container includes 180 soft chews, which is a generous amount and can last quite a while depending on the dog’s size and the recommended serving. The chews are also easy to handle and store. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this supplement. It’s easy to give, contains Omega 3 from salmon oil, and comes in a convenient form. I think it’s a great option for anyone looking for a simple way to add EPA and DHA to their dog’s diet.

This past winter, my poor border Collie mix started scratching herself raw. We couldn't pet her because every part of her became a ticklish spot. She itched and scratched constantly, day and night. After reading the reviews, we started off slowly to help reduce stomach upset. After a few days, she stopped the constant scratching. After a week, we were able to start petting her again with less irritation for her. After a couple of weeks, she was back to her happy self, able to get pet and booty scritches. A couple of months after, my daughter's dog started to get a hot spot on her hip. I started her slowly (especially since she already has deadly gas) and within a week, she was itching less. The hot spot has never returned. I know everyone is different, but the itchy and allergy relief has made a positive impact on our pups' lives. It smells as much as the human fish oil supplements, which is stinky, but not much more than wet food. I appreciate the discount prices because everything is soo expensive these days, but it is worth it to me because of how it helped two of our pups feel so much better.

I purchased this supplement in hope that it would help my morkie who has lost a lot of hair from Cushings disease. I also give this to my chihuahua because her hair has become more course lately. There is no strong odor and my dogs think they are getting treats. There is noticeable difference after one week, and my morkie’s hair is thickening some and my chihuahua’s hair is a bit softer.

I have mixed feeling about this product. I will start with the cons: After almost 30 days of giving consistently giving my dog these chews there has been no improvement with her allergies and itching. In fact, I have had to increase her dosage of Apoquel (per her vet). I was hopeful, after reading through other reviews, that I could possibly stop giving my dog Apoquel. Unfortunately that was not the case. The look, feel, and texture of her coat has not changed or improved either. Lastly, the smell of these makes me nauseous. Pros: quality product ingredients, made in the USA, and packaging are all pluses. My dog likes the taste of these despite the hideous smell of them. Overall, I’m disappointed that these did nothing to help improve my dog’s allergies. I do not plan to purchase again. I’m glad they work for others but I will have to continue my search for something that will work for my dog so I can get her off the Apoquel.

I’m a first time puppy owner and was freaking out whenever Millicent growled, coughed, scratched, etc. when it seemed she was scratching a lot, our vet said fish oil supplements might help. These worked like a charm, and she eats them eagerly. She only needs one a day because of her diminutive size.

The pieces are huge and my cats refused to eat them even when broken into smaller pieces, probably because of the smell. It smells absolutely HORRIBLE.

I've been feeding these to my 80 lb King Shepherd for about nine days... No relief from the itching... very gassy, lots of diarrhea, at one point even blood in her stool ...and puked a couple of times. Terrible that they don't offer a refund. Waste of money...bad for the dogs. I will go back to salmon oil. I feel terrible, putting my dog through this.
