I was initially disappointed when I saw it was two separate pieces, that being said, it actually works out better because it was easier to get on the iPod case itself, my sons last one was very inconvenient bc it was one piece and he always had problems with it closing correctly, this one fits gen 2 perfectly and he don't have to worry about a hinge at all it is thick silicon like material? Maybe a med-hard plastic (I'm talking in terms of how it feels, and durability) it has protected his air pods from many drops and the caribeaner let's him keep track of it he has not lost it once since getting this case, and prior he would loose them DAILY.

This product came in two pieces when it should’ve just been made into one. Quality is decent. It just gets annoying to put the plastic pieces back together every time you use them.

Case is pretty cool, just like it’s shown above. Had minor scratches that isn’t noticeable but didn’t bother me since that’s the purpose of having a case. I had no problem with it yet, I think it’s pretty sick.
