Description
Despite their comparative lack of chart hits, The Harptones are on of the most beloved Doo-Wop groups of the 1950s. This is by far the best collection ever of this superb group which includes hits and rarities with many tracks making their CD debut. Features such classics as "A Sunday Kind Of Love", "Life Is But A Dream" and their biggest hit "Why Should I Love You". Listening to the content of this 2CD set it is hard to believe that none of the material ever made it as a national hit let alone an international hit! Fully detailed liner notes explore their entire career and achievements.

great cd
Very much underrated group, cd is a mixture of ballads (as you would expect) BUT ALSO good solid r&b, well worth the price even if you had only heard Sunday kind of love.I was plesently surprised and would recommend taking a punt if you are into 50's r&b

MIA - What Is Your Decision?
The one thing that lets this comp down is their 1956 classic "WHAT IS YOUR DECISION" which isn't included. Otherwise would have given it 5 stars.
