It is very possible that it is made in the USA. It was designed in Japan. They ship the design to the US and many other countries. I have been using this set for quite awhile and it does a terrific job. It is very durable and has a good warranty.

Is this in originally packaging? I want to give as a gift. Thanks

Yes, it has wonderful packging. This would make a good gift along with a bottle of someone’s favorite liquor. I love it
