Pro Stainless Steel Water Filtration System - 200 Gallon Capacity

We have had this operating now for 10 weeks. So far it has been fabulous. My kids prefer this water over all bottled water as does my husband, and he’s pretty picky. I feel good saving lots of plastic water bottles from a landfill, saving money and serving my family the best quality water, living water free of pesticides and fluoride. As others stated, it is easy to set up. The flow rate was totally fine the first time we used it, I have been refilling the top on average twice a day, and refrigerating water in pitchers. The filter is still working great. I have bought a few back up filters on sale so have them ready when we need them. The one thing I would tell you is to be careful not to fill the top too high, even 1 inch from the top can be too high if water is above the spigot in the canister below. The best rule of thumb is to replace the amount you are taking out as you draw it. UPDATE: We have had this working a year now and it is a staple for all of us. I had to replace the filter once since we owned it. A few things to note. I had wanted to place this on my kitchen counter and it slightly blocks the full extension of the overhead cabinets being fully open. Ideal spot is out of the range of overhead cabinets. It’s about an inch too tall. The water tastes as great as ever. We are very pleased with this investment and have on hand backup filters which I get on sale to stock up. When we went on vacation we followed the advice of the company and took the filter out and put it in a ziplock bag, double bagged, with water to keep it wet since we were gone for a full week. When we got home we popped it back in and the filter performed as normal with no problems whatsoever. I love this unit for the price. It looks nice. I have heard the spigot can go and it is also easy to replace. So far so good!!

We’ve only had this for a few weeks but our well water is very iron rich. It comes out of the tap yellow and has an off putting smell. It isn’t unsafe to drink, just unpleasant. After trying multiple expensive whole house filters, we still couldn’t get the water to drinking quality. After some research I landed on the Alexapure. One filter took forever and seemed to develop an airlock during its initial filtering. I ordered a second filter and we get water much faster now. If the filters weren’t so expensive I’d consider a third. As is we can get 3-4 gallons of filtered water per day if I stay on top of draining the bottom tank and refilling the top. Usually we don’t use that much but I like to stay on top of the filtered water stores just in case. The cloudiness, yellow tinge and most importantly, the taste and smell of the water are very much improved. The water tastes clean and has no odor.

This product ALEXAPURE IS PERFECT. LOL I READ AND SAW ALL TESTIMONIES ABOUT ALEXA ,,I GAVE IT A TRY. ,, I AM SO 100% satisfied with it. The stainless steal. Is of 100% high quality. It doesn’t stain inside or out , if you don’t clean the filter it will acumulate water mud or let say contaminants. I cleaned mines after 2 months of usage Clear tasty and wonderful water ,I did test the water and . May I say perfectoooo. Only one filter with the Alexa pure and it filter water in 2 hours oh yes I have tested all the components of this great Alexa pure. System and I wouldn’t want no other filter in my home. ,, it’s so economic it beats all other in this catagory gravity filtering system , Humans that have bought this filtering system and didn’t follow the instructions or see the YouTube video s And read deeply the positive testimonies will fail and say negative things about alexapure ,,, ignorant s in many ways they will fail ,and lol a 10 year old child can do it s Assembly and maintainense ,, it might sound freakish but you get to love this alexapure and company ,, when you realize the. I've had the Alexapure Pro for a little more than a year now, & after the initial learning curve of several months, I have grown to love it. When I bought it, I only purchased it with the 1 filter, plus I also ordered a Dozyant stainless steel spigot to replace the original plastic spigot the Alexapure came with. Everything arrived well packaged & was easy to install all the way around, despite the assembly instructions being pretty bare bones. They also included very little info on filter care. (Maybe they forgot to include it in the shipment?) Just make sure when you first get the Alexapure that you allow water to filter through the system twice before using. Also note, depending upon the quality of the water you're filtering, expect to have to scrub the filter periodically as it clogs up with whatever it is you're trying to filter out. You'll know when you have do this, cuz instead of hearing multiple "drip" sounds coming from your Alexapure, you'll start hearing only an occasional "drip". Our Seattle city water source is supposed to be better than many, but even so, we have to scrub the filter every 2 to 6 weeks, depending upon how much water we're using, which can be anywhere from 1 to 4 gallons a day. To clean filter, hold under cold running water & vigorously scrub for a good 5 minutes using a non-abrasive scrubber (like a scotch-brite pad), & while you're at it, wash out the containers. If you do this, it'll increase the rate of filtering dramatically, & you'll be good to go for a few more weeks (or months). But if you cut corners & only gently (instead of vigorously) scrub the filter & only do so for a minute or two, it just won't be as effective & you'll have to do it more often. That said, once I made peace with the fact that I needed to thoroughly clean the filter regularly, I became a happy camper.

Water does taste better, and generally well made. While I did not have assembly issues or delays, it has leaked a time or two from the silicone washers which seal the tap assembly. Tap did reseal when centered, but with guests fiddling with tap perhaps tugging one way or another it has leaked twice. The design of the tap is just a hole in lower canister, then silicone washers for the seal. This is apparently not fool-proof and should be better for the price paid. Would have done 5 stars for a better design of spigot.

My family used so many plastic bottles of water that we decided it was time to buy a counter top water purifier. My friend said that the Big Berky was the only way to go. We decided to look at all of the water purifiers before purchasing one. We looked at many and then my grandson discovered the Alexapure. It was less expensive then the Berky and was comparable in performance to the Berky. We are very pleased with the Alexapure. It was easy to assemble, it is convenient to use though the spigot moves a bit, and the water tastes good. We are very happy with our purchase

This js by far worth every penny. There's no better way to nourish your health than with good clean drinking water. I've been poor health for the past decade and go through leaps and bounds to make sure I'm not putting harmful product into my body. There's no secret that the pipes in our waterways are decades old. There's heavy metals and contaminants in the water, causing harm to our bodies. After seeing the lab results I was sold. It fille fast and I've been drinking pure water all day, great tasting clean water without the added garbage. If you find yourself reading this review you need to buy this product. Well made, well worth the money, you will save money in hospital bills and enjoy life more. Update. 2 months and it was great but has developed rust along the top (wtf?) and will also no longer filter. Water just stays in top even after loosening wingnut around filter. Will no longer produce filtered water reliably. Sometimes drips fine, other times stalls all night. Buyer beware!

After owning the unit 8 months, the original filter stopped working. I did everything Alexapure support videos suggested. Frustrated, I contacted support to ask if they had additional tips to get the filter working again. I received a reply the next day and tried the suggestion. After soaking the filter in water for 72 hours, stem side up. it start filtering again! I completely submerged the filter in a ziplock bag in a bowl making sure the stem didn't get filled with water. I recommend people with questions, need help to contact the manufacturer directly (via email). I am very happy and satisfied I did.

When I tested for impurities it came up 74 whereas my tap water came up 67. I returned it with no problems and got a refund.

This is the second Alexapure water filter system I've purchased. We have brown water in a community where I work and it cleaned that water and it tasted so good! I used to buy bottles of water, this has saved me a fortune! I bought this one for my home where the water smells like chlorine. It works so well! You may need to purchase filters more often if your water is brown or full of contaminants , but worth every penny!

It doesn't work like the patriots say. It takes about 4 days to filter a gallon of water. By that time, the rainwater that I'm trying to filter is growing algae and turning green, further plugging the works. I've phoned 4patriots 4 times for heap with this problem and each time they tell me that it sounds like the filter has an air lock. The first fellow told me to take the filter out of the top section and place it upside down in a container full enough of filtered water to cover the tube that comes out of the bottom of the filter and that should take care of the air lock. Where do I get filtered water? The thing didn't make enough to fill my juice container 1/3 full. I'm at my cottage and the nearest store with drinking water is 35 miles away, but i got in my rig and went to town for clean water. I never saw any bubbles when I covered the thing and after 24 hours it was no better at filtering than before. I gave it a few days to see if it would improve (during all this time the filter was covered with water, so I don't think it had a chance to dry out) and then I phoned again. This guy told me I'd have to scrub the filter under clean running water for five to ten minutes with a scotch-brite pad to clean the gunk off the outside and the force water from the tap through the bottom to push out anything that might be blocking the filter pores. I'm at the cottage if I had clean running water coming out of my tap, why would I need an Alexapur? I bought the thing believing that I could filter the water that was in my rain barrel, which is the water we use for household water, except for drinking. I buy that in town, but I thought that if I bought this thing I wouldn't have to go in so often. When I explained this to the guy, he told me that I was probably out of luck 'til I could get to running water and clean it, then he ended the call. When I asked him how long it should filter the top tank to the bottom tank, he told me between an hour and a half and two and a half hours depending on how clean and new my filter is. It was bought in June and to this date (Aug. 17) it's filtered only about 7 to 10 gallons, but the filter hasn't been dry, it sits in the water it won't filter all the time. The other times were no better, with them telling me essentially the same thing. As soon as I get back to civilization I'll be returning it, I guess.
