Just what I was hoping for
Using this to put tags on perennial trees and bushes. Especially appreciate that I can write on one side without it marking the other, so I can label root stock, and put the year on one side, and list grafts and dates on the other. What a fabulous little tool. If you need it, you know it.They come down to about $.30 apiece, which is nothing compared to the time and expense we put into nursery stock. I found it very easy to write legibly with a retired ballpoint pen. I think if it has any weak point it might be in the wire that was provided to hold these on. They seem very light and fragile. I’ll keep an eye on that. But overall, I am delighted with these.ETA I saw someone demonstrating how he could make tags like this out of soda cans, by cutting the lids off with his bandsaw. His face was about 6 inches away from the sawblade, and he explained that he wasn’t using safety equipment because his wife wasn’t watching. I can’t imagine thinking that risking my vision to save $.30 was good math. This box arrived yesterday, and I’ve already used more than half of it. Considering the fact that these things should last for years, and the fact that having this information is going to help me make intelligent decisions about plantings, and there are 50 to a box (I counted) I think it’ll turn out to be one of the best purchases I’ve made.

Durable, Practical Garden Markers — Bought Them Again
This is my second time buying these double-sided write-on metal labels, and that says a lot. I use them as garden markers for plants and flowers, and they’ve been a durable, efficient way to keep everything labeled and organized.I like that they are metal instead of flimsy plastic, so they feel sturdier and hold up well outdoors. The double-sided design is also helpful because I can write on both sides if needed, which makes them more practical in the garden. They’re easy to place, easy to see, and much nicer looking than makeshift labels. My only small wish is that they came with their own writing tool or marker, since that would make the set feel more complete. Still, that’s not a dealbreaker for me, especially since I liked them enough to buy them again.Overall, these are durable, useful, and efficient plant markers. They do exactly what I need them to do and make my garden feel a little more organized.

Should last for years
These are great! Love that you can write on both sides and that they hold up for years. Perfect for tucking in on the inside of the pot.

Would highly reconvene
Love the quality. Best I’ve gotten over the years.

Good value
Pretty good. Looks nice. Easy to use. Just don't know how long it would last yet.

Great tags for outdoor plants!
These are the only tags for plants that don’t fade or crack with the weather. They last a long time and you can still read them!

Great option for labelling plants
I discovered, unfortunately too late, that the tags the nursery used to label my plants bleach out over time. Next time I buy a plant, I'll use these tags early on so I won't be stuck trying to figure out what my plants are a year later. These work great. I used a small screwdriver to write on them. That worked out very well.

Room for both Latin and common names!
I love these. I can write the Latin name on one side and the common name on the other, just using a ballpoint pen! There is a good bit of room for writing, even if you have to go to two lines. The little wires that come with these could be a little longer for use on larger plants like trees, but you can always use your own wire for those. The holes for the tags are large enough for a thicker wire, if needed. These are sturdy tags, not like those flimsy ones that are thinner than the aluminum of a soda can.Right now, I'm just doing one tag for one plant in a group of more than one (like my pawpaws), hoping that whoever moves into this place when I'm dead and gone will be interested enough in my efforts to build a food forest to identify the others that look the same. This will help me remember, too, precisely what I've planted and, if something dies, I'll know what to replace it with. I'm not bothering to tag annuals, of course, unless they are prolific reseeders, but I want to know what those edible perennials are in case we have to subsist on them...like if coffee becomes unavailable or unaffordable, I'll know where to get my caffeine in my yard! LOL!I just wish I had had these when I first put in some of my sunchokes and grapes, because I don't remember the varieties now.

Nice tags. poor wire.
The tags are great but the wires are poor quality and eventually break after a few years. For the price of these you would expect perfection but it falls short of expectations. Good thing wire is cheap and you can use better wire when you first use them. Recommend just to toss the wire right at the beginning.
