I'm not sure which ADC 40 cartridge you have but this stylus will NOT work for them. You can go online and search but you will need the exact cartridge number or old stylus number (something like this (ADC RPSX-40 or PSX-40 cartridge).

Yes, it should fit the AT3500 S cartridge. There are the original Shibata stylus still available but considerably more expensive. You could check LPGear or Turntableneedles .com.

Possibly, but i would not chance it. Some of the AT fingergrips (the plastic portion) is a narrower fit than others. The grip color used to indicate what kind of tip shape it is (conical, elliptical or shibata) . You should be able to find a direct replacement, but just be wary of any out of China. It may or may not. Yours is a Shibata tip, and fairly expensive. LP Gear has it for $199.95 You may be able to find a less expensive elliptical tip for the same cart. Check out resources like Needle Doctor and Ed Saunders as well.
