First of all, the cats eat them. I've tried so many others in the past and the cats sniffed and walked away, but they have both been eating these consistently. The other important thing about these is that they contain green-lipped mussel, which has been shown to have the right omega fatty acids to reduce inflammation and help rebuild cartilage. After 3 months of the recommended dose, one of the cats is jumping once again to his favorite highest perch. The other one has never jumped anywhere but she is at least standing up much more easily and is now open to getting more exercise.

While I don't love the price, my cat is so much better after she started getting these every day. She tries to tear my hand off to get at them so no issues with flavour for her, and she's much more comfortable. She's back to grooming her back, where she has arthritis, and her limp is barely noticeable. Definitely recommend, I'll be on the lookout for a cheaper source though.

I have a 12 year old very obese cat which I adopted from a home where they didn't want her anymore as she was too fat to clean herself properly, and was having accidents all over the house. Since she arrived I have done everything I can to help her with her arthritis so she can move and clean herself better, still needs me to help her out with washing her backside every couple days, but her mobility has improved greatly with these along with improved food quality so her coat is healthier and easier for her to clean. No more accidents, and has become a very affectionate kitty.

My very fat 15yo cat managed to get himself hung up on something & ended up tearing a tendon in his leg. Our normal vet was out of town so we had to see the temp vet. She said that the kitty was going to need expensive surgery. Especially because his wt & age would make it very unlikely that it would heal on its own. We were given an antiinflammatory & something for his pain, to try for a wk or 2 & then come in for a recheck. So kitty was avoiding walking & had severe limp when he did walk. He couldn't jump @ all & could not do stairs. He was very obviously in severe pain & just miserable. It was awful! I hate it when my babies aren't well & I can't do anything. So we went to the follow up appt (our normal vet was back). Our vet likes to treat conservatively first. He said surgery would be tough on kitty due to his age & wt, it could be risky. He gave us GlucoFlex & said we'd give it some time & see what happened. WOW!!! After 3 months he was so much better. It is now about 2yrs later & he is doing wonderfully! He didn't just recover from the torn tendon, he has improved in every way to better than he was before he got hurt!!! He has no limp. He is jumping higher & more frequently. He is seeking out the dog for wrestling matches, etc. GlycoFlex reversed the clock - took 5 yrs off his age. Since we had such good results w/kitty, we decided to try the GlycoFlex for dogs for our 15yo Chihuahua. He has bad knees & back problems. He had been on another glycogen supplement for yrs, w/out much affect. After several months on GlycoFlex, he is racing around like he's half his age!!! He is now able to jump up on the couch again. He's pouncy & playful. This stuff truly works wonders!

My cat is in way less pain, shes more agile and a lot more loving. I'm very happy with these treats, I've tried other brands but shes a picky eater and will refuse to eat them, but she loves the flavour and texture of these ones. I need to break these into smaller pieces for her to eat but she loves the taste ***these treats have gone up $15 dollars in the last year and a half I've had her on them, its very disappointing and has stopped me from ordering them in the past.
