If anyone has ever owned a husky, or knows somoene who does, then you know how much they shed. I’m not talking your typical “oh they have long fur there’s going to be shedding.” No, when a husky sheds its called “blowing the coat” for a reason, and they do it twice a year. I was at a loss for what to do, the slicker brushes weren’t getting any fur when it was obvious my dog was shedding a lot. Turns out the slicker brushed could only reach the top layer of fur and he was shedding his undercoat. This dog the job perfectly. First time using it I was able to get a wad of fur the size of a cat off my pup. It did not pull his fur and he didn’t mind at all. I also have a long haired cat. She sheds but not that bad. I hardly ever actually have to brush her even though she has long fur, but this brush got more fur off of her than I though possible. Works wonderfully if you have a long haired pet, but didn’t work well on my short haired kitty who sheds more than the long haired one. Slicker brushes work better for short hair but this is the best imaginable for longer haired fur babies.

I bought this to use on my car since his shedding had gotten out of control and his fur ended up matted because of how it dried following a bath. He was absolutely terrified of the brush the first time we tried to use it on him. Despite his hatred of the brush, it did a fantastic job of getting the matted and loose fur out of his coat. I used the large side to get the matted fur out and it worked very well. The smaller side pulled out all his loose fur. After he was brushed, his coat looked better than it had in a long time and his dandruff flakes were gone!Since that first brushing, he’s warmed up to it and loves being brushed. I use it every few days to get any loose fur off of him. His shedding has reduced greatly, he no longer has dandruff all over him, and he doesn’t get matted clumps like he did in the past. The brush makes his coat look healthy and shiny!The brush is cheap and made very well. The handle is easy to hold while brushing and the actual metal portion of the brush looks to be well made.My cat and I absolutely love this brush and have even recommended it to others. You can’t go wrong with it!

We LOVE this product! Best brush ever for cats! We have had almost every kind of brush available and this, by far, is the best brush! Our cat had a couple hard-to-remove clumps of matted hair. We couldn’t remove it totally until this brush! We brushed our cat once for 5 minutes and the clumps of hair that was matted, as well as LOTS more came off! Our cat LOVED it! The pile of hair was literally twice the size of our cat and left us in shock! We had brushed our cat recently and the amount of hair this brush got up was shocking. Our cat was silky smooth after her brushing. One other thing to note is that our cat has small bumps on her skin that can catch if the wrong brush has been used in the past. It’s made it hard to find brushes we can use for her. We were on the fence as to if this would be okay to use on her and worried it would be another brush that would catch on her skin and we’d have wasted money on it. We didn’t have anything to worry about. Though the pictures show a brush that’s questionable as to how sharp it is, it’s got the ends rounded and they are smooth and we were pleased. It does the job (beyond expectations) and makes our cat happy! Definitely a good purchase and we HIGHLY recommend this! Worth every penny!

Did not work for my long haired maine coon at all. She did however seem to like how it feels to be raked with this. So maybe I'll use it for comfort rather than purpose.

This dematting tool really works. The side with 9 tines works best for thick undercoats. My cat used to hate me combing her sides and back because now that she’s 17 she can’t keep herself free of mats that would pull when combing. After only a few uses she now lays down and stretches out so I can easily pull this tool down her side, belly and back. It removes so much hair and no painful pulling. Both of us are so happy. Wish I had found this sooner. This tool works great for cats with medium to long fur but I could see it working great for short fur cats with thicker undercoats. Give it a try. You and your fur-baby won’t be sorry.

This brush is incredible. It should be noted I brush them multiple times a monthly never had a hairball, matts are seldom ever present., and we have noticed it reduces dust bunnies. The principal behind is lifting out the under hair. It does exactly that. Every swipe is full of hair; I have to clean it every swing. Silver Grey cat is medium soft hair, the brush glides through while lifting deeper hair. He loves every second anywhere on him. The white one has very fine hair that is easily tangled, and does not enjoy her sensitive areas being brushed with this as it grabs a little harder. It will catch hard on any deep tangles so I go slow with light pressure. It takes a while to work through but if you persist the animal will be so happy in the end. Zoomies and ants in the pants for all furry friends!Side note, It cant do anything with a matt or a hard tangle, so I take care of those first by cutting them with scissors.

Bought this for our little Schichon (shitzu-bischon cross). His hair is pretty wavy, curly in spots. We have to brush him slow with this but it does get mats and knots out, which is why we bought it!
