This braid is incredibly strong. I have reeled in some big red drum on this and never had any issues! I highly recommend.

So it didn't come in a box from the manufacturer it was just in a shrink plastic bag. But you know what, I don't care about that. I was worried that the overly strong manufacturer smell that it put out when I opened the plastic would chase the fish away so I loaded my reel days before I planned to go fishing and by the time I cast out the smell seemed to be gone. Yes I got fewer bites than normal but I expected it. I have caught on several snags while reeling in and I just put the tension to it with my big reel and after a few tugs the snag is gone. The Linehan absolutely no abrasion signs yet. Now the color fades kinda fast if I leave the pole in my car in the sun. But if I keep it in the shade the color last a long time. gotta admit I love the line enough that u wish I had gotten it In yellow instead of blue. sadly I cant buy another lage spsool of it in yellow.

This braid frays less overtime than spider wire, so I think I’ll stick to trying Amazon fishing line but this manufacturer is using cheaper dye compared to something like spider wire. As you can see in the images I provided, holding the line makes the dye come off on your hands. Honestly I could care less but I just wanted to note this aspect- maybe overtime the dye will come completely off? who knows but I’ll try to update. Line quality is good besides that honestly and for the size spool you get, this is way better value for your money compared to something in stores. Thickness is comparable to spider wire but I do feel like this is a tighter braid or thicker lines within the braid compared to spider wire- you can feel the ridges within the braid on this whereas spider wire was loosely braided and you could pull the braid apart from any length of the line. Strength is also good and I trust the durability of the line brushing against rough surfaces like rocks.

Good product. I would have gave it 5 stars if the spool was easier to deal with. It needs to be like it used to be. But in all fairness all the companies have gone to this smaller flat spool.

Great fishing line for the price! It’s strong, smooth, and casts really well. The braid feels durable with good sensitivity, making it easy to detect bites. I’ve used it on several trips and haven’t had any issues. Definitely a great value and I would buy it again.

I bought it out of interest in modern polymer filaments, but as a former avid fisherman (mainly spearfishing, but I wet a line quite often) it seems like it'd work at least as well and probably much better than nylon :)
