I wasn’t sure how useful this would be, but it quickly became one of my favorite tools. I’ve used it almost daily for more than a year. It’s lightweight and has a comfortable grip. It has a sharp blade and is surprisingly powerful, cutting through pretty thick branches with ease. It runs for a long time on one battery, but it’s nice that a second battery is included. It also has a nice hardshell case, lubricating oil, a tool to change the blade, and a sharpening stone. I’m very picky about my gardening tools, and it’s a pleasure to use such a well-built and thoughtfully designed tool.

It is a comfortable wrist saver. I've used it to trim hedges, roses & various dead parts of plants in yard. Its sharp & easy to use. Its a real professional, sturdy & a surprisingly powerful type yard tool . Love it!

My Dragro battery operated pruning shears arrived yesterday so the first thing I did was to charge both batteries after reading the instruction manual. It took a little over an hour to charge each of them so that I would be ready to prune today. I had four rose bushes on my list to accomplish today and I've now got them done. I am very impressed with how well they worked and the much shorter amount of time it took me to get the job done. I have arthritis and I didn't do a very good job last year due to pain but that never happened today. They cut through the branches like butter, even for the old dead wood that I had missed last year. This years pruning was a much better job due to these new pruners. I would agree that one really needs to be paying attention when using them as they are very quick and could do major damage if you don't focus on the job. I can't speak to how long they will last, how long the blade stays sharp, or even the battery charge at this point. It only took me about three hours to do a decent job on the roses which were not in such great shape. I came in, took off the battery, and immediately cleaned the pruners so that they are ready to go tomorrow to finish what I didn't get done today. UPDATE: I've used these about 6 times since my first post. The battery life was impressive at about 6 hours. I've made it a point to clean them after each use before storing them and haven't yet needed to sharpen them. I've used them on Crepe Myrtles, Japanese Maples, roses, and Iris leaves and they have done an incredible job on everything so far. Highly recommend these.

This thing is fabulous, and I wish I'd of gotten one years ago. It speeds up pruning by 75% with no hand-fatigue. I've pruned my whole property line, all on one battery, which still has a charge on it. I think that some of those one-star reviews were a product of simply not reading the instructions. As promised it will cut 1.5-inch material, though sometimes it takes two or three tries while changing the angle of approach. Seriously though, watch where your fingers are when you are using this beast. Edit (eight months later): I took advantage of mild Feb. weather today, to break this out for some winter pruning. The job was fast and easy...filled two bags in less than 20 minutes. It's a real workhorse. I took it to Michigan (from Maryland) last summer to whip my sister's yard into shape. filled four bags in about 45 minutes. The job included a lot of 1-inch+ material, which this tool handled easily. I cannot recommend this thing highly enough. A must-have for the property owner. Edit: I've just come in from some springtime pruning. Twenty minutes of work, and a big brush pile later, and my lilacs have a lot more breathing room. This thing really cuts the brush...it does all the work and I don't even break a sweat. It's easy to get carried away with this tool and become "the mad pruner."

I primarily bought this to trim my pear and apple tree but use it for other things as well. It cuts great and love using it over using manual pruners. Cuts most branches that could fit between the blades with ease and the battery lasts a long time. This is a great tool except I hate the automatic power off mode. After 2 minutes of nonuse the tool turns off. I get on a ladder to reach some branches on my trees and it's highly annoying when you move the ladder to get in position, climb up to cut a hard to reach branch but can't because it powered off. Drives me crazy and wish I could turn that feature off...would be 5 stars otherwise.

This is so easy to use. On/off feature is so improved from the pair I bought last year. Cuts perfect & extra battery comes with it!

I originally bought this back in January of 2023 to prune all the suckers from my fruit trees. I have trigger finger, and just the thought of sqeezing regular pruners over and over again made my hand hurt. Removing all the suckers was quick and easy. Fast forward to February 2024. At the end of January, we had two awful ice storms just a couple days apart. We have ten acres, most of it in trees. We have never had so many trees, tree size limbs, branches and twigs downed by ice or snow before. The pruners have worked miracles for me, preparing the smaller branches for burn piles. I can use them all day long, and they do everything I ask of them. I have used up one rechargeable battery (there are two in the package) just twice during some of my marathon days of clean-up. I love this tool.

Makes bush and tree trimming almost enjoyable! A great time saver! I should have ordered this tool years ago.

July 12,2024 This set of cordless pruners worked right out of the box, both batteries were fully charged. I used it immediately to cut down a huge forsythia bush. it saves so much strain on your hands and will do the really thick branches that you can’t do with your pruners. I would highly recommend this product.

When the package arrived I checked the content and it was incomplete. According to the instruction manual there should be a little container with lubricant in the box, it is not. The instruction manual states that you need to use it twice a day. I could not find anywhere on the website where I could contact anyone.

Bonjour. J'ai acheté ce sécateur il y à moins de deux ans et déjà une batterie HS et je n'arrive pas à trouver de batteries de remplacement, pas sérieux du tout surtout à ce prix. Si non très bon matériel qui coupe de bonne section de branches verte. Si quelqu'un à trouvé des batteries de remplacement je suis preneur. Cordialement. Bruno

On arrival case damaged, and brittle. Label on shears coming unstuck, no oil included. Not what I would expect for the price paid. Haven’t checked to see if it works yet.
