This is kind of an oddball thing that probably not a lot of people have a need for, so it's not common, but I was glad to find it. It worked perfectly for my little project. Quality seems very good.

Seems to be well made and works well. The only criticisms are the cap tether looks like it won't hold up and it is only rated for 1.5 amps instead of 2.1 amps. The hole size for this is around 7/8" instead of 1 1/8" like the other panel mount sockets I'm using.

After installing a Motorola Radio into an emergency vehicle I needed to find a solution to allow the radio to be programmed without removing the radio from the console. Drilled a hole in the side of the console then attached the back of the USB programming cable to the plug...worked perfect and saves time.

I've used the Clinko USB connector (both panel mount and cable) for my DIY underwater camera project and indeed, the USB connector doesn't leak! Good price and does what it's supposed to do. Thank you Clinko.
