Genuine Certified Ultra High Speed. Solidly made. Our new go-to cable brand.
There are lot of Chinese brand cables on amazon claiming Ultra High Speed certification, but I really didn't want to have to crawl around the back of our equipment rack to swap out the cables more than once, should the claims prove false, as too many reviews of other brands have claimed, or even if quality control was to blame, which seems more likely. Monoprice seemed the safest bet, that would get here in a hurry via Prime, at an affordable price where I didn't feel like I was paying for big brand advertising or gaudy design.I've owned a lot of different cable brands over the years, but never bought Monoprice before, even though they've enjoyed high praise, even among videophile circles. These days, Monoprice has essentially become one of your better names in the cable industry for solid quality without charging name-brand premiums. Unlike a lot of brands out there, Monoprice seems to get it: just make a good product for a fair price. You don't need subjectively gaudy terminations for something that is usually concealed (not to imply these cables don't look sleek - they do, but without drawing attention to themselves, should the control panel of your display be visible to guests). Nor are superfluous video enhancements (like sharpening) desirable with HD and higher resolutions, not to mention how potentially problematic any extraneous processing can be with the dreaded HDMI handshake.Unlike analog video interconnects of yesterday, paying more for build quality doesn't provide tangible benefit for most run lengths and settings. Monoprice isn't the cheapest cable on the market, but they're close, yet still appears to offer brand name quality far below brand name prices. I'm glad they sell through amazon now, as when we need a new cable, we usually want it as fast as we can get it.We've purchased 6' and 10' lengths and can confirm these pass 4K at 120hz from a PS5. In addition to the PS5, we use these cables to carry 4K content from a standalone Panasonic UHD BD player and scaled 4K with enhanced chroma sampling from an Oppo 103 Darbee Edition BD player.

Fixed my audio problems!
I've typically had good luck with things from Monoprice, but I felt like I had to write a review on this.I picked up some HDMI cables a couple of years ago that I thought were supposed to be decent for the price, but I started having issues a couple of months ago with the audio I was using through eARC where it would just cut out and back in, sometimes several times in a row sporadically and made watching things difficult and frustrating with having to keep rewinding to hear what someone said. I did some troubleshooting of a few different things and then when I had the same audio issues no matter what I tried, I decided to get new HDMI cables.I plugged these in and replaced the old cables, restarted my TV and soundbar just to make sure it was a fresh connection and the first thing I noticed was the Dolby vision and audio options on my TV instantly prompted on my screen which it didn't usually do and I had more options from my Apple TV as well which was surprising. The picture was brighter without me changing anything and no more audio issues. I have a Vizio soundbar that's 3-4 years old now, and a Hisense 4K TV that's a couple of years old and the cables made a big difference with this budget or mid-tier friendly setup. I'll definitely lean towards certified cables in the future, these have been great over the last week of using them.

High-Quality 10ft HDMI 2.1 Cable – Reliable for Gaming and Home Theater
I purchased the Monoprice 8K Certified Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable (10ft) to extend my home theater setup, and it has been performing flawlessly. Despite the longer length, the signal quality is excellent—no dropouts, no flickering, and no handshake issues between devices. The build is very solid. The braided jacket not only makes the cable durable but also helps prevent tangling. Connectors fit snugly and feel premium, which gives me confidence in long-term use. I’ve tested it with a gaming console and a 4K TV at 120Hz, and it handles the bandwidth with no problem. It’s also 8K at 60Hz ready, making it future-proof for new hardware upgrades.✅ Pros:Fully certified for HDMI 2.1 features (48Gbps, HDR, VRR, eARC, ALLM)Smooth 4K@120Hz and 8K@60Hz performanceDurable braided design with tight connector fit10ft length is perfect for wall-mounted TVs or media centers farther awayCL2 rated for in-wall installation❌ Cons:Slightly thick and stiff, so it needs space for bendsNot as flexible for tight cable runs💡 Tips:Use this for setups where shorter cables won’t reach—perfect for large living rooms, gaming setups, or projectors.Avoid sharp bends; give it room to naturally curve for the best signal stability. If installing in-wall, measure carefully and consider using conduit for easier future cable swaps.Pair with HDMI 2.1 devices (PS5, Xbox Series X, RTX GPUs, modern TVs/AV receivers) to get the full benefit of its bandwidth.Bottom Line:This cable does exactly what it promises—delivers reliable, high-bandwidth performance over 10 feet. If you’re serious about gaming or home theater and need extra length without sacrificing quality, this is a fantastic choice.

Better than others!
Had HDMI error codes with other brands. Tried these and they are great. No error codes.

Great HDMI
The HDMI ports are highly sensitive and it's possible to bend the pins inside quite easily. This was a relatively straightforward process compared to the previous set, which unfortunately resulted in damage and substantial expense. I would strongly recommend this, and the price is good.

Perfect for eARC Audio!
I was using an older HDMI cord that came with my TV or old cable box (not sure) for eARC audio from a HiSense TV to a LG Soundbar and it kept cutting out or just not producing sound. I did some research and the first conclusion was that a HiSense TV and a LG Soundbar wouldn't communicate. I didn't accept that, so I dug further and saw some say it may be my HDMI cable. I wanted a cheaper one, but one from a brand I'd heard of. I came down to this one and another brand I hadn't heard of but got good reviews, I went with this because I'd heard of Monoprice. I hooked it up and set the TV and soundbar back to HDMI eARC for audio and turned them off and back on and have had 0 issues since then. I don't know if the sound is better than before because I have bad tinnitus in one ear and hearing loss in another, but it is consistent with no more cutting out. I can't speak on how this works for video as I wasn't getting it for that. My Amazon Fire stick is plugged directly in and doesn't need an HDMI, I use the HDMI that came with my XBox Series X with it (that's what's recommended), and the HDMI that came with the Nintendo Switch for all my video needs. If you're looking for ARC Audio at a decent price this is the way to go. I saw some complaints of the stiffness, and I agree it's stiff, but that isn't a negative to me as I was running it straight from the TV through a cord organizer to the soundbar.

Advice from a professional home theater & High-End Home Entertainment installer
Key advice I pass on to most customers & follow myself:-Use HDMI 2.1 cables. They are the most capable cables for high end content paired with newer televisions & receivers.-Only choose Ultra Certified HDMI cables. These cables have been tested and assured to work up to the HDMI 2.1 specifications.-Use the shortest HDMI cable possible. This will reduce your chance of dropout with high bitrate content.-Don’t use the cable that came with the TV. I have yet to see a decent cable packaged with a television or receiver.Which aftermarket cable to choose?Low-Midrange cable:For simple streamer (Apple TV, Roki, etc) to television setups I prefer the Monoprice. For the price you can’t do much better. The cable does have issues with 4k 10-bit at 60hz (commonly used for Xbox one X & PlayStation 5 gaming). It also struggles with HDR10, which is being more commonly used in movies streamed through Netflix & Hulu.I have had no success with Monoprice & HDR10+ or Dolby Digital. I think that content pushes to high of a bandwidth for it. Lately EARC has also been a struggle, new systems are starting to use these advanced features on a regular basis.High-End cable:Fusion8k is the industry leader at this moment.Installs of the newest Televisions, projectors & receivers will be pushing HDR10+ & Dolby digital or Atmos.I have been using the Fusion cables for these installs because saving a few bucks on an HDMI cable is usually not worth my time when having to come back and troubleshoot issues on previous installs.

Awesome HDMI 2.1 Cables
They work as expected. Don't bend them too much though.

Iv been struggling with hdmi cables for so longI tried a lot , when I say a lot it's almost ridiculous...8k60hz oled tv 4k 120hz , Yamaha Aventage 8K 4K 120hzall the cables iv tried give me problems some struggle with HDR and 120hzsome are working for a short time and eventually got problems...I end up with the audioquest 48 Pearl, and still have random glitch with Vrr and 4K 120 hz, even with hdr.Iv been buying Monoprice way long ago and always been satisfied, and this is no exception. This Monoprice cable beat all of them included the audioquest 48Gbps, Since I replaced all my hdmi cable with this and had 0 issue at all, no glitch no black screen it work 100%Now im into Monoprice all the way! good Company good price !
