Why did my earring come with a yellow tint

Unfortunately seems to be the characteristics of that ear rings Stone. regardless of the picture showing at clear diamond.

Can I wear these in the shower without them tarnishing or making me ears green??

These ear rings are a great gift for anyone for Christmas, Anniversary, or Valentines Day. I bought these for my girlfriend as a suprise Christmas gift and I thought the earrings were going to be too small for her ear lobes but they fit her perfectly.
