Smaller than I expected. Well no worries..the book is good. It's related to the fundamentals. But at some places it should have explained a bit more which it didn't. This may cause confusion and doubts.Talking about the Quality- good. However the book I got was damaged a bit from the oitside(its hardcover I mean) . But that was due to the shipping mistakes..Overall - A NICE BOOK FOR THE BASICS OF BIO ENTHUSIASTS.

I own the following volumes in this set:Science,Chemistry,World History,English (Middle School),Biology,U.S. History,Computer Science and Coding (discontinued),,Algebra 2,Pre-Algebra and Algebra,Geometry,Please don't consider this a full set, as they probably will add volumes as needed.The construction of these books, each is around 500 pages of information that will help your youngsters to learn their subjects in school, whether home, or traditional classroom setting.They call them "paper backs," but I find them to be higher quality than that, as they come very close to actual "hard back" books, as they have very strong covers.I believe that you will be very pleased with the books, not I don't own any of the 'workbooks' so these comments don't cover them, but when I do get one, I'll update my comment(s) to include it/them.I believe that you will be overjoyed with your purchase, as you can buy a couple, or many, and will learn along with your kids lots and lots of things from these awesome volumes.
