Works great and I love it!
I'm super glad it came with the tools for opening the ...This is an incredible product! Here's why - even though the rated capacity is the same as the O.E.M. battery, this new one has a longer run time. This is my wife's golf GPS and even when it was new, it would not last through 2 rounds of golf on an 18-hole regulation course. Now, she can play two full rounds on one full charge!I'm super glad it came with the tools for opening the case of the GPS unit. It was fairly easy to open the case to access the battery location. Warning - this has to be done very carefully and patiently. Before you remove the old battery, note the location of the wire leads. Your new battery leads must lay the same way or the case will not snap shut.Also, after removing the tiny Philips Screw from one side of the case, apply a small strip of tape on both sides of the device to hold the 4 (2 on each side) operating buttons. If you don't, these buttons, which are very tiny, will fall out of place and will be difficult to put them back in their proper positions.If you break one of the plastic tabs that snap the case closed, not to worry. Simply use some clear or frosted Scotch Tape to hold the case together. No one will notice it.This cost me $10 to replace the battery. The battery was replaced by the factory 2 years ago and the charge was $40!Jim

Flawless
Replacing the battery with much easier than I expected. Very helpful to have the tool set, and the instructions were clear enough to guide me through the process. Hopefully you never have to replace your battery, but if you do, this kit was a good one.

After a month of use. the battery is working fine
The initial replacement process was a little finicky, but once I had the GB Voice apart it went quickly. I followed a YouTube video on how to do this. I charged and discharged the battery three times as recommended and it's holding a charge nicely. I'm also ensuring I discharge the battery completely after a golf round to prevent any "memory". I will update this review after 6 months to a year. The provided plastic tools could be a little better, the screwdriver worked fine.

Can't use the battery if the tools won't open the Golf Buddy
No instructions included. Found a You Tube video but could not get the Golf Buddy open. Tool broke - cheap plastic. Battery might be good but trying to install is a nightmare. Returning it.

The battery works great but opening the golf buddy to replace the battery was a challenge. Perhaps some instructions would help. There are videos on YouTube lets you know how (sorta) but even with that it’s tough to get the back off with furnished tools. Had to use flat head screwdriver and forced back off

Works well
This battery works very well, but it is very hard to install. The parts are so small in the Buddy it is very hard to place the battery with large fingers.

Great find.
I love my Golf Buddy, (over 5 years old) but the battery started to need charged more often and lasted less and less. This product a little tedious, but overall easy to install. This allowed me to continue love my Golf Buddy for a little longer!

Much improved duration
Installation was fairly easy, just follow directions. It's been charged several time now and last 6+ hours.
