Make Your WiFi Issues a Thing of the Past!
What a great Mesh WiFi System! I would highly recommend this product for anyone suffering from stability, connectivity, or dead-zone issues in their house. Coming from a single AC1750 router, I had no idea what I was missing out on. WiFi connection was perfect in the same room, but as my modem is on an exterior wall on the far side of my house, there was literally no internet for the other end which unfortunately housed the home office.Enter the Meshforce M3s Mesh WiFi system. I got the “Midnight Black” version which looks amazing on dark shelving. Too often the white routers stick out like a sore thumb, so having the color option of this sleek device with muted chrome accents is a breath of fresh air.In the box were three devices, each able to act as a standalone router or be added on as a satellite to an existing MeshForce system, their associated power adapters, an eternet cable, and two instruction booklets. Setup was a breeze, all you have to do is plug in one router to your modem and your electrical outlet, download the “My Mesh” app (available on both Android and AppleOS) and connect to the default network (SSID and password listed on the bottom of any of the three devices). Open the “My Mesh” app and you are immediately walked through the setup process. The additional routers come pre-linked, so all you have to do is plug them in at the desired location to expand your WiFi coverage. Apparently you can add more MeshForce satellites to your network using the QR codes on the bottom of each device, but I’ve yet to test out that functionality. After setting up all three routers at various midpoints in the house I was able to get WiFi EVERYWHERE, we’re talking no dead-zones at all. Zoom calls were crystal clear with no drops or pixilation and the best part is we could walk from one end of the house to the other without a drop in our FaceTime calls because MeshForce includes seamless roaming. Conveniently, each router has an LED light on the front which will indicate the status of the device (e.g. green means "all good").This is a dual-band system with both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz operating with the same SSID. The router you connect to decides what band to steer your device to based on strength of signal. I didn’t find this to be an issue at all, as we found we were almost always steered to the faster 5Ghz band. We pay for 300 Mbps and were pulling down 275 Mbps right next to the base station and 110 Mbps at the farthest away satellite! While my house is not set up for it, MeshForce does provide for the ability to have a wired backhaul so that you can enjoy the same fast speeds throughout your house. Also, “Smart Assistant” allows for the user to temporarily deactivate the 5Ghz band to aid in adding legacy devices that only operate on 2.4Ghz (e.g. cameras, smart plugs, etc.).There are a host of additional options that I don’t use, such as “Fast Roaming,” “Port Forwarding,” “UPnP,” “DNS,” etc. You can even set the “DHCP Server” which will definitely come in handy with those advanced users. MeshForce has allowed for users to upgrade device firmware with a single tap in the app, allows for scheduled reboots of the entire system, and provides easy access for both local and cloud based administration of your WiFi system via username and password. All in all a 5 star system, I would definitely recommend. My WiFi issues are in the past!

I wish I had upgraded to Mesh WiFi years ago
My family has used an Apple Airport Extreme base station for well over a decade. It's been a good and faithful wireless router. We live in a ranch style home and the internet comes in on the west end of the house. The base station didn't reach the other end so we used an Apple Airport Express to extend the signal to the east end. The internet speed was horrible on that end of the house. The Express was just a bandaid, that we used for years. With home schooling, Zoom meetings, everyone being home more and all the kids streaming video all the time, our internet crawled. The Meshforce fixed all that.We have Xfinity cable internet. Of course that means the actual speeds we're getting are not close to what the advertised "up to" speeds are supposed to be. But with the Meshforce routers, one on the west end of the house—where the cable modem is, one in the laundry room in the middle of the house, and the third in the gym on the east end, we're actually getting closer to max download speed than we ever have. Here are the numbers. I did a Speedtest.net with each router, once during the day when the family is using the internet the most, and once at night, when the kids are in bed. All speeds are Mbps download/upload. And the order is west end upstairs (near the cable modem), west downstairs, east end upstairs, and east downstairs (in the gym).Apple Airport day 1, afternoon:WU: 54.5/11.9 WD: 25.9/11.7 EU: 1.9/2.1 ED: 2.8/4.2Meshforce day 1, afternoon:WU: 81.7/12 WD: 83/11.7 EU: 99.9/12 ED: 88.1/12Apple Airport day 2, night:WU: 125/11.8 WD: 110/12 EU: 24.9/8.5 ED: 6.8/0.8Meshforce day 2, night:WU: 121/11.4 WD: 119/11.3 EU: 123/11.9 ED: 106/11.8The speed improvements in the east end of the house are amazing. Going from single-digit downloads to triple digits means I can stream my workouts without it buffering while the kids are doing zoom meetings ... something that wasn't possible before. The unpacking and setup is really simple and straight-forward. The hardware is top notch and so simple. The only hiccup, and the only frustration, was the very initial setup. After downloading the My Mesh app, and following the simple written instructions that come in the box, it was easy, but the app froze or stalled twice. Once to the point where I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it. The two screen caps in my review are the two screens where the installation stalled. I had hoped that it would take 10-15 minutes to set up, but waiting for those two screens, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it made the initial set up take 32 minutes. Once the initial install was done, setting up the other two routers was super simple and took a couple minutes. If setting up the first router was seamless, I think it would've been less than 15 minutes total.Overall, it's an upgrade that I wish we had done years ago and we're all so grateful we did. The signal is great. The speed improvements are amazing. Our internet feels like new. We love our Mesh!

Excellent Product
After reading a lot of articles and reviews about "mesh" home wi-fi systems, I thought I might give the concept a try with this relatively inexpensive product. Long story short-- this system worked right out of the box to deliver a faster and more stable signal to the far corners of our house. Setup was ridiculously simple-- just connect one of the three units to your router and place the other two at appropriate distances to form a relay system. Plug them into power and you have a new wi-fi network automatically. (Only other thing you have to do is load the app and give the network a name.) Don't expect a dramatic speed change. Speed varies at maybe 1 1/2 to 2x faster, but main benefit is just a more stable signal for streaming. Product was well-packaged and tastefully designed. Has now been working for about 4 months with no problems. Definitely creates a better connection for video streaming than the single wi-fi extender we were using previously. Also nice side benefit: one network can serve the whole house so no more switching back and forth between wi-fi networks when using the iPad on different floors.

They all stopped working. Purchased only 5 months ago
The devices slowly began disconnecting devices on my network. They have all now quit connecting any device on my network. I have tried resetting the devices, and they still will not work. I talked these up to several coworkers, but have been greatly disappointed. Tried customer support and never got a reply.

Plug and Play Mesh Router
The mesh router system comes as a set of three units. However, there is no distinction of main vs satellite and any one of them can be assigned as main and the rest as satellite. As shown in the pic, I connected my router to the modem using the included ethernet cable. I like that it can autodetect the internet connection type as with other routers this part of setup is the most tedious. Once connected with the cellphone app, the remaining setup is step by step. There is only one LED light in the front which indicates the connection quality based on the color code. I tested this router on a 100 mbps connection and the speeds were close to that across the two floors in my house. I also spent several hours on 4k streaming and gaming with this router and did not observe any buffering or latency issues. I also liked that the units are small and lightweight and can be hidden anywhere across the house. The units also offer one standalone ethernet port in case you prefer hardwiring certain devices. There are few minor dislikes too: first that there is no browser based access to the router. While the phone based access is designed for ease of use, some users may prefer more advanced features (VPN, DDNS, IPV6, etc). The other gripe is despite being dual band I cannot separate the two channels to have a preferred band (5Ghz in my case). The workaround I found was switching off the capacity oriented mode. Doing this made my devices connect on the 5Ghz band.Despite these minor issues I would still recommend this unit as I have consistent Wi-Fi speeds across the house and had no connection drops so far.
