Gelid Solutions Extreme Heat Conducting Paste Syringe 1g Easy to Use for CPU/VGA/Chipset Heatsink Award Winner

Thermal paste is of good quality for its low price. After cleaning heatsink and applying this thermal paste, my CPU & GPU temps dropped to 75-80°C on heavy gaming where as earlier it used to exceed 90°C and made my laptop lag a lot. Paste lasted 1 year before needing to be applied again. The spatula provided made it easy to apply too. Highly recommended for normal laptops & budget gaming laptops.

Product arrived on time. Took effort to open cap, how ever there was no instructions. The thermal paste material applied evenly with the special nozzle. Will have to wait to see how long this performs & not dry out.

I applied it on a laptop with upto 35w TDP CPU running often with under loads. Expect it to maintain efficiency for at least 6 months. Acceptable performance for almost 3 years before fans started getting noisy in 2025. I reapplied Cooler Master Cryofuze 7.

After researching about the pump-out effect observed in Arctic MX-4 and Thermal Grizzly, I went ahead to buy GELID GC Extreme due to its high density and thick nature. I'd say this is the only paste you should buy for your gaming laptop. The temperatures on my Acer Nitro 5 (Ryzen 5 2500U/RX560X 4GB/16GB) were as follows: Temperatures Before: Hovers around 83-89 degree Celsius. After: Never goes above 74 degree Celsius no matter what. RDR2 (pictures attached) Before: 25-27 FPS game play with frame drops every 2 minutes to 12-15 FPS. After: Smooth gameplay with 30-40 FPS. CPU Before: Used to stuck at 1.6Ghz and barely ever went beyond 2.0Ghz. After: Never goes below 2.0Ghz and goes till 3.2Ghz when under stress (turbo boost). Benchmark scores improved by a lot, Firemark was way smoother, Cinebench (pictures attached) was improved enormously and the laptop is all cool and good. I'd say going for the 3.5g tube would be a better investment if you plan to re-paste every year (that you should though). I've just applied the paste 7-8 hours ago and will update this review with time. Peace!

I'll update after one month in terms of performance and average temperature difference. All review keep praising same words make me wonder if they are genuine or not

I bought this for my Dell G5 5505 laptop and this laptop is notorious for running hot. The CPU and GPU both average around 89-91 C when gaming which isn't ideal. Driver timeouts and crashes were very common. Upon opening the heatsink I found copious amount of thermal grease both on the CPU and GPU both which isn't ideal. In fact, the heatsink too had excess grease sticking out. After cleaning it all and applying the adequate amount of Gelid GC Extreme I immediately noticed the difference. CPU no longer stays above 90 C for longer duration. It only reaches that high for a second when the game loads up and the laptop is stressed. Else, it stays comfortable below 85 C. The GPU never touches 80 C. At last I'll say this Thermal Paste is perfect for this laptop. It does the job perfectly. That's all I'll say. Also kudos to Dell for making this laptop easy to open and service.

I have used this paste in my hp pavilion 15 1024ax Ryzen 5 4600h ,GTX 1650 gddr6,8gb ram. I was using it from 10 month and it started thermal throttling during cinebench r20 and aida64 stress test. I scored 2700points in cinebench r20 test and temperature of cpu during reached upto 100degrees . But after applying this thermal paste my laptop temp decreased from 100 degrees to 83 degrees Celsius during stress test and it scored 3300 in cinebench r20. This is best paste under budget. You can use upto 2times on gaming laptops. Please don't buy thermal grizzly kryonaut because it is not very thick ,and it is very costly. Now my laptop temps doesn't increases above 80degrees in gta5, watchdog's 2, rocket league. This is best thermal paste for Amd Ryzen processor.

Well i repasted as soon as i got my thermal paste, both gpu and cpu and it was all done in 199rs this is a good go to paste. My temps dropped from 95-100° while gaming to 75-80° while gaming. This is a good to go paste at this price But the only problem is the fluctuations in the temps it never goes above 80 now but it fluctuates too much

Pasta termica davvero efficace: nel mio caso dopo averla applicata la temperatura del chip è scesa un po' ma si è alzata di qualche grado quella della scheda madre, dei componenti che gli stanno vicino e dell'interno del PC in generale. Questo perché il dissipatore non riusciva a trasferire all'esterno il maggior calore "trasportato" dalla CPU al metallo. Dopo aver migliorato la ventilazione interna però la temperatura della CPU (rilevata con Speccy) è scesa di ben 13 gradi in totale ed anche quella di tutti gli altri componenti è scesa parecchio! Per chi come me non aveva un sistema di raffreddamento/areazione adeguato la consiglio quindi in abbinamento ad un buon dissipatore e/o ventole interne ed esterne, ed ovviamente una bella pulizia approfondita sia del chip su cui andrete ad applicare la pasta, sia delle varie ventole, radiatori e prese d'aria. Per ora l'ho usata su due CPU e una GPU e mi pare ce ne sia ancora (la siringa è coperta da un adesivo perciò non si vede quanta ne rimane). Aggiornerò la recensione dopo averla terminata. Per l'applicazione, nella maggior parte dei chip basta metterne una goccia (più o meno abbondante, dipende dalla superficie) al centro e riavvitare il dissipatore o ventola con cautela, così che sia la pressione ad espanderla su tutta l'area.

Da ich keine Wärmeleitpaste mehr hatte, habe ich mir diese hier für meine Grafikkarte besorgt. Soweit mir bekannt ist, wird diese Paste hier unter den klassischen Wärmeleitpasten nur noch von einer Fremdmarke übertroffen, die erheblich teurer ist. Die geringe Menge von einem Gramm ist mehr als ausreichend für meine Grafikkarte, da sowohl Chip als auch Kühlkörper plan sind, braucht man nur eine hauchdünne Schicht um die Oberflächenrauheit des Kühlers auszugleichen. Weniger ist hier mehr (anders als bei z.B. aktuellen Intel Prozessoren, wo man berücksichtigen muss, dass deren Deckel i.d.R. eine 'Delle' (konkav) hat). Aufgrund der festen Konsistenz lässt sie sich jedoch nur sehr schwierig in einer ganz dünnen Schicht auftragen. Leistungsmäßig hat mir der Tausch des Paste ohne Last bei Mindesdrehzahl des Lüfters eine Temperaturbesserung von ca. 2-3 °C gebracht. Bei Last habe ich wegen des temperaturgeregelten Lüfters logischerweise keine Temperaturverbesserung ansich, dafür eine leicht geringere Lüfterdrehzahl/Lautstärke, was mein eigentliches Ziel war. Wenn also Unterschiede von ein paar wenigen Grad wichtig sind und man das Optimum rausholen will, klare Kaufempfehlung. Wenn minimale Unterschiede keine Rolle spielen, dann sollte man doch besser zu einer günstigen greifen.

I saw praises all over the net on this little paste for doing wonders on laptops due to high viscosity. Value wise it really is on the low side as you pay the about the same for 1g of this vs. 4g from other brands. The stock spreader you slot on top of the syringe isn't exactly stellar since it is small and rigit, paste has more tendency to stick to spreader than the die. I applied a dollop of this on the CPU and GPU, used the stock spreader and it was just usuable enough to get an even layer. It takes a bit longer than a normal spreader. Once installed the thermals immediately improved by a huge margin. The fake MX-4 paste was making my pc thermal throlle at 20W CPU power... Idle and peak at low 90s. After repasting with GC Extreme idle only hit a idle peak of 70C. After 1 week, under load with turbo boost off I get CPU 73C/80C, GPU 69C/71C (avg/max). With turbo boost on and fully loaded I get CPU 78C/86C, GPU 66C/70C. Temp was lower just after application by 6C for CPU. It has been stable so far after 2 weeks. Tested with 24C ambience. I will try to update this review after 6 months and 1 year use. So far very impressed!

C'est du bon matos , mais ce n'est pas extraordinaire sa donne les même perfo que de la MX-4 artic (qui est moins chère) sur du AMD 5950x & 7950x
