Feels like a better quality silicon, almost satin look and feel. Feels comfortable in the hand, and fits the airtag. Haven't quite dropped it on hardwood but does totally fine on carpet. Sometimes the edges want to slip off the right and left sides but it's fine, easy to fix. Ergonomic and looks great.

Personally not a fan of the ergonomics. I thought we’d love the idea of the AirTag, but if you use the phone it has a find feature that lets you play a game of hot and cold to find the remote. So the AirTag not needed. The quality of the cover is nice tho.

My cats are quite the handful when it comes to the remote! They seem to have a personal vendetta against it, tossing it around the living room like it’s a frisbee. It’s under the couch, on top of it, beside it, and even in random spots on the floor. It’s everywhere! The struggle was real until I stumbled upon this Apple TV AirTag remote case. It’s a steal for the price, and I’m so glad I bought it. Now, I can easily find the remote with the AirTag, and when it beeps, I know exactly where to go to grab it quickly.

Not pet friendly, second one purchased soon became a dog favorite when not put away.

I really, really like this case. I also realize it’s aesthetics may not win awards, but who cares? It feels great in my hand; a huge improvement over the not-so-ergonomic flat, rectangular slab that Apple shipped. Also provides terrific protection from the inevitable drops on my wood floors. Is the AirTag compatibility overkill? In my case, probably, but your or your family’s mileage may vary. I opted to get one anyway because…I’m a dork. It actually contributes to the final product, because otherwise there’s an empty floppy space in the back of the case. Oh, I also really like the wrist loop which I use to drag it over when it’s just out of reach. Such a simple, seemingly unsexy little product that I can’t recommend highly enough. Ok, it’s a bit overpriced for what it is but I gave it a five star rating cuz it has made my life much easier. Apple remotes are so small that they are easily and often lost. An Apple Air Tag tucks perfectly inside this holster and the Apple remotes slides securely on top. The increased bulk of the cover makes it harder to lose the remote and the air tag’s location finding and lost chirp functions makes finding it a breeze. The glow function doesn't make it glow enough in the dark to be of any help but I do like the opaque white color. If you lose your remote, buy this and an Apple Air Tag.

The only downside is that the design is supposed to put the airtag with the white curved surface down - that means the speaker points up right into the back of the metal Apple TV Remote - which muffles and deadens the sound - that's a dumb design, so if you're happy inverting the airtag and making the underneath of this silicone case look a little distorted you can get almost the full volume of the airtag and not lose any functionality. Otherwise, it's a really great, comfortable design and worth the money.
