Does this bag fold over if it’s empty or is it too stiff?

Hi , This bag will fold over if it's empty. It is not stiff. It is 18oz cotton canvas. We only use some fusing interlining at the opening of the bag , in order to make the zipper smooth to slide.

How wide is the shoulder strap ?

Why can’t this bag be machine washed?

Hi , thanks so much for this question. We suggest hand-wash by neutral soap considering from 2 main points, 1) Beach and fluorescent in liquid detergent may easily cause the color fading of cotton canvas. 2) The acidic or alkalinity of the liquid detergent may corrod the hardware, and made it lose its beautiful luster.

I am looking for a bag to tote my breast pump and accessories. The pump is 5" x 6". Will it fit in the 5" bottom?

Yes, the bottom of the bag is 5"X10", so it fits. The fabric, handles and shoulder strap is durable and strong too.
