No and the winch is not worth your time. Usage was only two times before breakdown.

How many amps does it pull? using battery

Works great. Used a lawn mower battery to winch on ford ranger onto trailer and worked fine.

Can you change wire rope for synthetic line?

Dont know. I would not buy it again. Returned it.
