32GB at a great deal.but $60 for 9 of these = $6.67 still a great deal so 3/5I now have to buy 1 extra and waste time waiting for it arrive, I will need to stall our 10th user that needed his personal USB drive.Getting in contact with SanDisk for an Amazon purchase is hard.

I am a true believer in SanDisk thumbdrives. My daughter did a science fair project back in elementary school (she's now in her mid-20's) where she bought five identical drives with the same images and documents saved on them - she froze one, washed one in washing machine, drove repeatedly over one, and threw one onto a hard surface from a second story building multiple times. They all worked. My husband recently used one of them, and it still works great, around years later! SanDisk is the drive I trust for all of my important documents.

From the start, I knew these were bargain basement drives and just USB 2.0, so they weren't going to be very fast.But the speeds I am seeing are quite slow - I measured them using the AJA Speed Test and the results I got were a 10 mbs write speed, and a 20-25 mbs read speed.The most important factor by far though is reliability, and Sandisk is one of the best. If your data gets corrupted, then you might lose something far more important than just a cheap drive. If you only plan to keep some data such as photos, documents etc off your computer as a safe back-up (and you really should), then these should serve you just fine. However, if you plan to frequently transfer data from one computer to another, or delete stuff and rewrite to it often, For around a dollar or two more per drive, you can get something else that is at least 3-5 times faster.Also be aware that there is no LED light on it flashing when the drive is active. You might want to know when it is busy, but then again some people might find such a light distracting when it's plugged into a TV, etc.

I bought this initially for testing various distributions of Linux, if not, for transferring files for prints if needed. With additional drives available at my disposal, knowing that certain stores may need you to have a drive formatted a certain way, say FAT32, then I don't have to worry about reformatting any of my other drives that may have files stored needed on there that is not compatible with FAT32.Anyways, this value pack is great. No issues so far.
