Is this material thin enough to be embroidered?

I would not think it would be thin enough to be embroidered as it is real leather. I had to use a leather needle to stitch together the project I made with what I purchased. I would say it is about 1/4" thick.

It's possible, however as each give is unique, it's best to buy them and lay out your patterns on the actual hide. If it's short of what's required for your project, please call 212.643.1702 and we will help send a replacement or an extra 24x24 cut.

Coud I get 2 pieces 60" x 18" good leather out of one hide?

no, it will be very difficult to get that size cuts.. you could probably get 2 cuts of 15"x 60" from one 22 sq.ft. skin. but you will easily get it at least 3-4 18"x60" cuts from a full hide of 42 sq.ft.

Can I use this to make a motorcycle seat?

The piece I received was as thick as the pair of chaps as well as the vest I have but not sure how much thicker a piece would be needed for a motorcycle seat. Not sure if that helps answer your question or not as far as the thickness goes but hope it does.

Beautifully tanned leather

Beautifully tanned hide. I used it to recover a chair for my daughter in law and she loves it. This leather is perfect for upholstery. Buy more than you think you’ll need since this is a natural product and therefore isn’t a uniform shape.

No regrets with this purchase

I compared reviews of several products before deciding on this one. I am glad I chose this. The leather is soft, supple, and beautifully tanned. The piece was more than large enough for the project I was needing it for, a book cover. I have received many compliments on this because of having used a quality piece of beautiful leather. If I have any future projects that I need leather for I will order from this manufacturer again with no hesitation.

Can’t return.

So the product is great but the colour is wrong so I would like to return it but am getting nothing from the seller. I have tried to go through the channels. Don’t buy if you are not 100% sure it’s right.
