Trigger (Devil's Reach Book 1)

I didn't think I'd get on with this after the first couple of chapters but persevered as it had so many good write ups and is paid for it. There are confusing bits as the start jumps around a lot and so.e of the biker slang left you guessing. I had to keep rereading some bits as I didn't quite get, as I said confusing. However the mystery of Tess's past is the draw and also the mole within the club has you wanting to know what's going on and the ending is quite gripping a real mystery. I will be getting the next book in the series.

This book was recommended to me by a bookish friend and I really enjoyed it. I’m going to start the next one straight away as I’ve been left with so many questions!I loved the characters. Trigger is my favourite type of guy - damaged alpha - but from the minute he laid eyes on Tess he started falling for her. Tess is still a mystery to me, I think she’s really genuine but also damaged so I’m hoping we learn a lot more about her background in the next book.

This book was so so good. I found myself unable to put this one down.Trigger is a man with the right name because anything can set him off.He's the Prez of the Devils Reach and has a huge problem with intimacy, he doesn't like it and loathes people touching him. This guy deals with his Demons on a daily basis. He fights them off the only way he knows how, with any sort of violence.Tess is a woman with her own set of Demons she's running from hers and ends up working in a bar owned by the Devils Reach.These two are both messed up but end up getting close.I loved the chemistry between Trigger and Jess. It's exhilarating and hott as hell.There are some great characters in the MC I'm hoping we see a few of them getting books in the future.I'm looking forward to reading the next book because that ending was awesome and I'm dying to see what happens next.

Wow! This is the first book I've read by JL Drake and can't wait to read more. This Dark MC Romance was one hell of a ride and so addictive. I was glued to my kindle from start to finish...Trigger is the President of the Devil's Reach MC. He was raised in the pits of hell and is stone cold killing machine. He has no emotions, no thought for anyone who gets in his way. That is until he meets Tess...Tess is on the run from her past, and seeks the help of her best friend. He finds her a place to stay and job at the bar of his MC club house. Which is where she meets Trigger. Who she can't help but be drawn to..This book had so many twists and turns, that leave you begging for more. While you're left holding your kindle in a death grip as the story unfolds. Can't wait to find out what happens next for Trigger and Tess..

I’m not overly a fan of MC books and have read everything else by this author and had left this series until last as I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read. In the end I read it and couldn’t put it down.

How many broken people does it take to make a whole? Would love to know Tessa's back story but I guess all will be revealed in book 2. Lots of interesting characters, I love Brick and Minnie and hope they get a book too.

This had to be a five star rating for me. This is the first book I've read by J L Drake but definitely not the last, I downloaded the next two when I was only half way through this one, such a gripping storyline. Highly recommended
