I'm a 60 year old man. I just love gadgets, especially "spy" type ones. They are always SO small, yet pack a BIG punch. This recorder is like that. I saw the measurements before I ordered, but that didn't do this item justice. The recorder isn't even as big as a pack of gum, and just as light! It is easy to charge and easy to operate. I love just holding it in my hand. It is SO sleek and cool looking. The record, stop, power and playback buttons are sleek and easy to use. The quality of the recording really blew my mind. I would have NEVER expected this much clarity out of such a small unit, but Uqique nailed it on this one! We had a little glitch at the beginning of our(Uqique) relationship with a shipping misunderstanding and a screw up courtesy of PayPal, but those issues were solved quickly and completely by the Uqique Staff & Team! Heck, they even gave me free shipping and a 20% discount for my troubles. How is THAT for classy? If you are looking for a fantastic lecture recorder, or for recording anything for that matter, you CANNOT go wrong with this one. Fantastic product, fantastic price, fantastic customer service! This product is not worth the money for me. Must have worked well with other users, but this unit came in a box that had already been opened. I gave it a try, but had issues. Voices were clear, but the unit would not delete files so of no use to me. I could work the buttons, but it may be hard for someone with larger hands or less dexterity. Unit was returned to try another brand.

This device is exactly what I needed for all my business transaction. It is small, light, and the sound quality is fantastic. Did I mention it's also easy to use. I've bought may different styles over the years but this is by far the best I've owned, and it's also very inexpensive.

Disappointed!

As advertised. The (aluminium) case feels sturdy and durable. Unfortunately the control buttons on the ends are made out of plastic and feel a little less durable, but nevertheless work fine. Small and light-weighted, very easy to carry. Can understand one's trouble getting to understand its control functions although in my experience they are rather intuitive. Sound quality is less good then I'd expect, tried out some different situations and recording volumes, and a constant background noise is present continually. Easy to connect and charge.

Already did a review, earlier today. Evidently you have not seen it. The product is amazing. Miniaturization is the by-word, for sure. I've been in Navy and Civil Service communication electronics, and a Ham Radio operator for 53 years; and, the uqique recorder is the most amazing electronic unit I've seen. Works as described, and with Windows 10. Very happy. -

Only worked for a week. Customer service was very helpful but still with theyre feedback I was unable to get it to work again. I submited a return.

Edit: DO NOT BUY THIS! The company that makes it no longer exists. There is NO customer service to contact there is NO support website. The instructions were easily understandable, until you try to fast forward/rewind or delete recordings, as the instructions describe both of these with the exact same steps. The device is very poor quality for dictating notes (I wanted a device I could read my notes from class into to re-listen to while biking) but simply holding the device adds interference sound and stopping the recording creates a screeching sound. The device does not record for several seconds after starting the recording, but the light that flashes when it is turned on does not signify when it starts recording (my simple experiments have shown how long it takes varies each time) , which makes it extremely troublesome to make multiple short recordings, like audio flash cards. The device is tiny and easy to lose sight of, especially as it is black. I wrapped mine in neon tape (the bad sounds occurred before I tapped it) and it still manages to slip away. Although plugging the device into the computer was very nice, as adding sound files or copying/deleting files on the device is just as if you plugged in a flash drive. This is why the device gets 2 stars instead of one.
