Prisual PTZ Camera Gen 5 AI Auto Tracking, 20X Optical Zoom

We bought this for our church to record and ultimately live stream services. Setup was pretty easy and the quality of the video is great. When used, the embedded software in the camera provides a broad range of controls and settings (though we found it to be a little glitchy at times). The camera works perfectly in OBS using NDI, and PTZ control via RTSP using the OBS PTZ plugin has also been flawless. Note that while this version of the camera does support NDI out of the box, the video feed will freeze after about 20 minutes if you have not purchased an NDI license separately through Prisual’s website (a one-time, lifetime purchase, but not necessarily a small fee). This drove us crazy for over a month trying to figure out the stream freezing issue, but ended well. Tech support is in China, so 12 hours time difference. Nevertheless, they responded quickly and provided polite, meaningful, and helpful feedback. We would definitely buy again.

This arrived set for dhcp, with fallback to 192.168.100.88, whichever you have connected at the time. I switched it to a static ip and added it as an NDI source at 4k to OBS, then added it via Sony visca to a tenveo kb300 pro controller. Everything was easy to set up and it works very well. The picture is very sharp and clear even at full optical zoom. (I never use digital zoom). The only thing that briefly tripped me up was after setting resolutions on the camera web page, I forgot to reboot the camera so OBS kept getting the wrong source resolution. I didn't notice right away because OBS scaled to the canvas on the input, and only upon recording/streaming or using studio mode did I see the teenie image centered in a 4k window. Overall, a solid camera, good picture, included full NDI, and very easy to set up and use.

I purchased 4 of these for a recording studio to support live streaming during client sessions. I am not the best with IP and networking. I could get most of it working without help. There were a couple of things I didn't know about re: hooking up an IP controller to the cameras. I sent a message to the seller via the Amazon interface. I got an immediate response, within 10 minutes. (I didn't expect that). They went through the basics and had me check the common things that would cause my difficulties. I was not able to completely resolve all the issues. So immediately they suggested a install TeamViewer so they could look first hand at my computer setup. It was the magic bullet that saved me time and frustration. They spotted my errors immediately then proceeded to TEACH me what I was doing wrong. (this was also unexpected.) It was a great experience to see their dedication to their customers. It is refreshing to see this in a day and age where most companies abandon their customers after they purchase their product. I was surprised to find out they didn't charge for this support even though the products were working normally and it was my lack of knowledge causing the issues. All 4 cameras are working great now even though the controller I had my issues with was NOT one of their products. They were under no obligation to help me with that. They had it fixed within 2 minutes but then spent another 2 hours making sure I knew how to configure everything if I ever needed to set up an IP controller in the future. This was late in the day here and I'm sure in the wee hours of the morning where they were located. All perfect English and totally understandable. I would not have complained if they told me there would be a charge for this service but it was offered as a customer service. Great company, fantastic product. If you have a need for a PTZ or SD camera this is it. Also works with HDMI and the crazy part is that the different protocols work at the same time. I am using an IP controller for the presets and positions but SDI for the video at the same time. Other combinations I believe are possible but this combo is what I am using for now. HQ video and the price is incredible.

The budget problem I bought this camera for my church streaming, a really cool PTZ camera, pretty good for image quality, and very fast focus. A little concern about this camera before order, I tried it and very satisfied with that price and performance. NDI and POE just one network cable work great, NDI streaming very low latency, 100% identical function with PTZ optics, and save many budgets, I will upgrade all my church with this product. We have been using this video camera for our church for just about 8 months now. No problem and works fine till now. Easy setup and camera's pan tilt zoom been that silent and moving smoothly. And I used the open-source PTZ Optics app to control this camera plug-in OBS, what it works is RTSP and SRT, perfect! Excellent customer service and really great camera for the value. I've contacted the Prisual team at the [email protected] and got big tech support it really help me. Their response to all questions in a timely manner and was willing to log in via Teamviewer and have some professional setting made my camera works very well on OBS. This is an NDI-compatible PTZ camera that supports POE and is affordable. This camera uses a metal base to improve its lifetime and be more durable, heat dispersion would be much better than other brand plastic designs and we have been made some comparisons. I would highly recommend the Prisual NDI Camera and you will not be disappointed.

I purchased this camera and the TEM-JOY1 controller for our church. A year later I added a second camera. I wanted to use the tracking feature on the camera from the controller input. Our controller is a bit older and has the F1snd F2 keys. Product support was very responsive in online assurance updating the software on both cameras and the controller plus configuring the proper settings so our controller could turn tracking on and off for each camera. The video quailty is really good and the cameras work smoothly. Very happy with the support and the camera performance. We use OBS for streaming.

Setup straight from the factory was quick and painless via the IP interface. VISCA joystick control works great, and PTZ performance is responsive across all three interfaces — IP, RS-232, and RS-485 — which gives you real flexibility for integration. Image quality is genuinely good. If you need a reliable, multi-interface PTZ without a steep learning curve, this one delivers.

Ariel with tech support is the best. The unit arrived very well packed and on time. It is solid. The camera has the best picture, is silent in its operation, and the AI following with all of its options is amazing! Ariel walked me through all of the options for the AI tracking and other things I will have to go back and look at my notes. The color was exact, it picked up fine in low light, and the zoom stayed sharp all the way out. In my younger days, I would have had no problem doing the geek connectivity i.p. stuff. All it needs for physical connection is poE. One poe switcher, and cat5e or 6 to each device, that's it! They send other cables in case you decide to use a different hook up. We will be streaming our church service to FB, and I already did our first test. It was great. Again, I cannot say enough good about the friendly and knowledgeable technical help. The picture I posted of the switcher shows 3 cables, there is a 4th now for my laptop.

I bought this camera expecting that I would get what I paid for. As a professional video producer I work with all kinds of gear, some of it quite pricey. PTZ’s are in this category as one pays for convenience, rather than other features cameras tend to have. Having unpacked this PTZ 20x SDI model, I was immediately impressed with the quality of image, silent and smooth operation and quality build and then realized that this camera is comparable to much more expensive versions. Caveat emptor - although the camera is of great quality it does have a chromatic aberration problem in certain lighting conditions. It is barely noticeable, but a trained eye will spot it soon enough. I do like this so much at this price point I will be expanding my PTZ cam inventory with these. Also, be aware that this company sells NDI versions of these cameras, which are a bit more in price but still well under market rates for similar or identical branded cameras. Def recommend.

Rien à reprocher pour une caméra PTZ a ce prix . Je l’ai depuis environ 5 ans , elle est juste Pro : Image 4K sans faille, PoE , SDI , HDMI… Prix très très raisonnable!

I’ve purchased two of these PTZ cameras and have found that the image quality is very clear. Currently using for church streaming applications and have the feed setup through the RTSP source. There has been no drop in frames and they work with OBS very well.
