Bought these to put individual slices of cake in after a family party. The boxes were a perfect size and closed well. We handed the cake and the boxes in to the kitchen at the venue and they cut it up and put it in the boxes for everyone to take home. Perfect! I had a few boxes left and they come in handy for leftovers and salads.

Good little boxes for slices of cakes. A little big for a single cupcake or muffin but it works. The seal isn’t great and sometimes pops open

They fit a decent size piece of cake in them, and are good for putting a small salad or other things to take out with you for lunchtime ect.

5.5 inches refers to the overall dimensions. More like 4 inches on the inside and too small for my original purpose. I can only fit 2 small cakes in rather than the 4 I had wanted to, so need to use twice as many. I agree with the other reviewers that they are not easy to close. They seem to close better when the half with the part number stamped on it is used as the lid and pressing down into the bottom half. I would buy again and not quite sure if they are recyclable. but I am assuming they are.

Bought to give out cake at a party. We also ended up boxing up left over wraps/salad. A good size individual portion fits in well. They are easy to snap shut and stay shut fir travelling. There was no smell when opening. They look very clean.
