At the end of each chapter, there is a short list of questions. These questions are geared to help your child's reading comprehension. The entire book is less than 5k words. A great introduction to chapter books for your blossoming reader. Both the paperback and the kindle version have questions and spaces for answers. If you are using a kindle, please use the "notes" function to allow your child to record their answers. Directions for notes on kindle: "On the Kindle , you'll have to select "Create Note" before you start. On the Kindle Touch, the option will say "Add Note," and on the Kindle Fire, it will simply say "Note." Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your note. A Great Children’s Adventure
This book is wonderful for kids who just love to read. It is educational and gives a fun story to follow. The author puts her writing skills to the test and does an overall magnificent job putting this book together. The only reason this book is not 5 stars is that a little bit of the words used may be hard for a child to understand. Other than that, this book is a work of genius.

Great Learning Experience
I not only liked the story, but I liked the way the author asked questions at the end of each chapter. Not just dumb, memory recall questions, but questions that actually make the reader think, as well as learn to pay attention to what they are reading. I have a couple of kids that are at the point of reading this, and I think it will be a great resource to help them learn to pay attention, and to think about what they read. Cute story, good message about bullies, self doubts, and having courage.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Sam (son/brother) pulled the car into the Cades Cove Campground. Daniel (11, son/brother) thought he was a no-it-all. The gear was laid out, tent’s set up & Mom lit the green lantern & hung it on the pole by the picnic table. It was time to turn in. Mom fixed them breakfast: bacon, eggs, & orange juice. She remined the boys the food had to be hung up out of the reach of Black bears. Beatrice (girl) introduced herself to Sam. She wanted to show him where to get worms. Now she wanted to show him where to swim. Sam & Beatrice rolled her giant black innertube into the creek water. After lunch, they wandered over to the playground. Park Ranger Tim was giving Sam & Daniel a tour. Maddie Grace (white poodle) was enjoying herself. I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. An awesome book cover, & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (elementary; MS age) adventure storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. It was just OK for me so I will only rate it at 3/5 stars.
