Nintendo and Sega used some of the strangest fasteners to keep people out of their games. This set of three bits are all rare hard to find tools that you need to clean and repair your consoles and games. Lengths: 4.5mm security bit is 5 cm long (2 inches, 3.8mm security bit is 4 cm long (1.6 inches long, triwing bit is 5 cm long (2 inches, with a usable length of 23mm (.9 inches). screwdriver handle not included. If you do not own a screwdriver handle We recommend our at kN nd screwdriver set, sold separately. Please note that to open some Nintendo consoles you will also need a Phillips size #00 screwdriver, which is sold separately. Review: Perfect bits - Was having trouble cleaning my old game consoles and games until I received these bits in the mail, and it was a life changer. I've been so happy with how good they work and how durable they are, everything was perfect, I would buy again. Review: Hours of frustration saved. - The last time I tried fixing a Gameboy game it took hours of frustration and I nicked the screw and the plastic all up because I used a small Phillips head instead of the correct bit. When I received this package I opened it up, popped the bit in my screwdriver, and my game was fixed in fifteen minutes (I fought more with the solder holding the battery in than anything). The bit worked great and Iโm sure if I eventually need the others theyโll work the same.

So far, so good
I decided to get this set over the other offering from Silverhill (pair of standalone screwdrivers) since it comes with a tri-wing bit and it's easier to store bits rather than two full sized tools; being a dollar cheaper didn't hurt, either. So far I'm pleased. The two game bits do what they're supposed to do. I've opened a few games and a system without much of an issue. Both bits seem long enough to reach the screws in any item you'd need to work on and they certainly simplify the process compared to the modified flatheads I've been using. The tri-wing bit is also good with a nice, long, and slender tip. However, I do have some reservations. While the tri-wing seems to be made of a quality alloy, the quality of steel used for the game bits seems to be sub par to my (admittedly untrained) eye. They use a chrome like steel that I think may not hold up to prolonged use. After a few screws, I noticed some tiny "shavings" that could indicate stripping. However, I didn't really inspect the tips thoroughly before using them, so it could have been a remnant of manufacturing or simply a sign of them being broken in. Also, the tips where the screw head is gripped by the bits seem to be far from precise, as if they were molded rather than machined. The heads don't insert fully into the bits, though they are gripped sufficiently; the bits kind of sit on top of the screw head rather than hugging it fully. This could be intentional to prevent stripping by allowing the bits to slip over a stubborn screw head rather than having the teeth that grip the screw be ground away. In practice, however, it can be a pain as the bit slips fairly easily; I have to apply a good bit of downward pressure to keep a good grip on screws, even when just starting to drive them in. Despite these issues, I still think this is a good product, but time will tell if I keep that opinion. Since I don't need to use these often, they should hold up just fine; plus, the tri-wing bit coupled with the price make this set a good value for the money. However, if you work on systems for a living, you would probably be wise to spend a bit more on something of more professional quality.

Nicely made and works great!
I bought these to take apart my Game Boy Micro (I had to access the circuit board to clean off some components). The tri-wing bit is absolutely amazing. It's made very well, and I didn't strip any screws. The other bits work very well, too. Overall, this is a great deal!

Hard to find bits
My son has been looking for these bits for years. He had a device that only needed the power button fixed after it had shifted and it couldn't be pushed anymore. These have worked fantastically! He has fixed the button and put the device back together. He is using it right now and is almost giddy with excitement. These are sturdy and work well.

High quality and works perfect for GameCube controller screws.
Very high quality material and fit and finish. The tri-wing works perfect for the screws in a Nintendo GameCube controller. Highly recommend these over the cheaper tri-wings available. I tried a few others and these are higher quality by a large margin.

Decent Bits, Strip Easy.
These bits work really well for the most part, however the only issue I've had is that they strip fairly easy, so you need to be careful when using them, but they really work as long as you use them right.

Excellent solution for Nintendo maintainence.
These bits are excellent and work well. The bits fit the gamebit screws on my systems and cartridges perfectly with no play, unlike my old set of full drivers. The triwing bit gets good grip and fits well as well, and is the best triwing bit I have used.
