Seamax Portable Boat Carry and Launch Hand Dolly Set with 16” Pneumatic Wheels

Build quality is very good and for the price I’d say a good value. Will work perfect for my needs which is to get my inflatable w 15 hp and PortaBote w 6 hp from campsite to the boat launch. I’ll be able to walk the dolly or hitch to Jeep. One mod I’ve done already is to replace the 4 bolts that assemble the dolly with hitch pins. This will greatly speed up the dolly setup and not take away from dollys strength.

So far, so good. Obviously the company has made improvements to the product as they have gone along. The version I received is a bit more robust than the photos. States 250lb payload. My boat and motor is right at 250, and yet this thing seems to have more to go. Though the documentation states not for use in water, I am using it as a launch (why else even have it). Will see how it stands up long term to salt water, but I greased the wheels and am washing it as much as possible. Only issue with launching/retrieving is that it floats, so I must step on it to hold it down to reload the boat. Replaced the bolts with quick release bolts so I can break it down for the pickup. Whether with the original bolts or the quick release, the tolerances are a bit loose, so there is some wiggle in the various parts. Hopefully this doesn't end up leading to failure. Given the ridiculous prices for the competition, though I consider the price high for the product, it is low in comparison to competitors, and therefore a better value. Would like a somewhat longer handle, as my 12.5 foot boat goes right to the handle end.

Ok, this is one solution for someone who just doesn't have a trailer or has space for one and needs something to wheel their inflatable boat in and out of water. I find it to be somewhat sturdy but wouldn't trust it with any more weight than my inflatable with a motor on it. I hate that the two rear flaps aren't immobilized and are swinging in whatever direction they choose to. This is what actually punctured my inflatable. When you try to put the inflatable on it while the boat is still in the water the flaps are pointing up with their corners somewhat sharp (in regards to an inflatable hull with motor on it) and these corners pressed very hard against the hull and tube seams and caused a puncture. Now I have two holes on each side of the bottom of my boat. Not the greatest design and I wouldn't recommend anyone with an inflatable to place their boat on the trolley as is, and to actually line the rear flaps (or whatever there called) with a carpet material or something that would not puncture your boat.

product is what I expected . The only issue was there was hardware missing (nuts and bolts) . What i did to make it better was to put wing nuts on the parts to break it down . Don't need to have wrenches

Good value for the price. Used this to haul 2 plastic kayaks with a electric golf cart. Works well with the help a pool noodles & ratchet tie downs to secure the kayaks.

Weak construction, did not fit as should had for sturdiness as stated in description. Back two red pads never would become stationary as shown in pictures, flipping back and forth side to side, left to right. Reached out to seller numerous times for help,told over and over their product was never defective ever, his name was Lawrence. He said he would send pictures “how to” never did. Called again, now this is my process, reached out to Amazon for refund and putting out this review; brand new boat still unable to get into my lake in my back yard because of this product. If you have used others”that really work” please reach out to me.

Overall a good little trailer. Very easy to assemble. Light weight and easy to maneuver. I actually unhook it from my truck at boat launch and push it down to the water by hand. It is that light and easy to handle. Didn’t give a five star rating because of the rear pads, only one hole in each, so they move around to much. I removed them and put a 5 foot 2x4 for the stern of boat to sit on. That works much better and is much more stable.

Got it on time. 1 part was missing from the box. One quick call and the part was shipped right away. Kodos to Seamax I won't be using the dolly till spring but it appears well built and sturdy. I did a test assembly, there were no missing hardware and is of good quality. Everything fits and works as it should, easy to assemble. I will be using this on a 14 foot aluminum boat.

This model is a significant improvement on the typical article - lightweight dollies. Advantages: - Wheels are plastic, no bearings. - Includes trailer hitch for very short-haul pulls - robust slip-plastic pads instead of "upholstery" - powder coated finish It is however noticeably heavier, and lacks a convenient t-bar handle for 2-person pulling.

Great for my 11 foot Zodiac.

Pour un zodiac 12 pieds avec moteur , je croyais que sa irais mieux que ça sur sol complètement plat sa va mais c’est Rare qu’on voie ça . Première commande manquais les roue mais je l’es esr reçu 2 jour après c’edt Bien mais sa l’aurais pu être fais pour cale dans l’eau et non qu’il flotte ou qu’il puisse partir avec leau . Première fois que je l’oublie sur le bord de l’eau je l’es perdu avec la marrée montante du fleuve . Il calle même pas ! Vraiment ordinaire je capote en ce moment
